Fast forward, the government and instutition are getting their hands on crypto and Web 3.0, which mean sooner or later, would get regulated, turned it into Tardfi 2.0. We've still taken a step in the right direction. Even if countries fall, the crypotcurrency backbone will survive the institutions failing. Crypto is regulated, not owned by the government.
