Same. I was like 135 and 5'9 until I got to 26 and got a job where I don't move around much. Now im 29 and around 150-55. Not terrible but I have a pudgy tummy I don't get rid of because i have zero self discipline and have never went to a gym or worried about dieting

I rarely do but I eat a lot of sweets and pizza rolls/mozzarella sticks/frozen pizza. But this has never caused an issue until the last few years

Your metabolism is on the way out. Poor guy. You’re not a teenager anymore. I suggest the Mediterranean diet. Lots of good things you can eat, still generally easy to cook.

Same here, actually had the realisation today when I was recording myself to check back issues.
I looked absolutely fucking disgusting.

In a fit I went to my fridge and threw all my sugar, fat and dairy food into the trash.

The biggest meme is my huge belly, I lost a lot of weight too, reached the weight I had back when I was a teenage but I still look uber fat.
Seems like my years of wagie, stress and complete inactivity wrecked me with viceral fat.

It's awful.

That’s my issue desu. I started drinking heavily 1-3 nights a week and lost motivation to go to the gym cause I’m waging and recovering the other days. But drinking and seeing hot girls at the club is my main source of happiness right now.

Yeah i think it bow down to that. I too was feeling disgustingly shaped (like LFD2 tier zombie witches) before i started to lift, even tho i was weighting 30lb less. Lifting will help you regain confidence by shaping you back in human form. You don't even have to go hard on it, just 10mn lifting 10kg weights every 2 days at home is enough. It will straighten your back, and give you larger shoulders and big arms, it's enough to look so much better.

How do people get fat? I've weighed 90 kilos at most in my entire life and I had to put effort into eating food. I can't imagine weighing over 90 kilos and the amount of food you need to stuff yourself with. It's not even a lack of self control, you actually have to put more effort into eating that much than you would by not eating. I can't forgive fat people, they're sick.

If you eat a lot of junk food as a teenager and love things like pizza and hamburgers, you start to believe that you can eat that stuff forever with no consequences. Then when you get older your metabolism slows down, and you start to see what that stuff is doing to your body.

Not everyone has the genetic predisposition of a 3/8" aluminum rod, but most of it is lifestyle. being an office wagie is the biggest contributor moreso than food, because eating as much as 300 more calories than your daily BMI can make you fat over the course of a couple years

You know humans aren't machines, right? You've got all kinds of metabolisms out there. And beside the food, i think it mostly is the result of sedentary lifestyles. The highest performing natation athletes eat up to 20K calories per day and they don't gain weight.
Meanwhile i live in my bed 22 hours per day and i gain fat even eating only one meal a day.

It's not that bad depending on your height. I wouldn't have called myself slender at that point in time, but it wasn't exactly horrible. My weight for most of my life was 60kg.

If I were to tell you how sedentary I've been for the majority of my life, along with a diet that was pretty horrible and not controlled in any way whatsoever, you'd tell me I was lying. Even to this day I don't actually have a proper diet still and consume soda often and I still weigh around 76kgs.

i got a stressful desk job with long hours and some overnight travel and gained 25 pounds in a year. then i gained another 15 from continued bad choices.

staying thin was so much easier when i was on my feet for 8 hours a day.

Cool, i do heavy weightlifting three times a week, walk +7000 steps and i still gained 3 kg in july just by having a shit summer vacation diet. Some people are blessed with better metabolism than others.

you too huh bro? I ate roughly around 3k calories a day for two years while consistently lifting 3x weekly, 10-20k steps daily, and swimming twice a week and barely lost 30 lbs doing it. The twigs of the world honestly don't know how blessed they are, sure they can't gain weight but at least they can't gain weight
