I converted about 150k of my investments into a high yield income oriented portfolio and it's literally paying for my monthly expenses (rent, utilities, groceries, etc.).
Anyone who says it's not life changing is just a moron.

That's until it goes down and the money stops. Higher yield, higher risk.

True. But it's more like 20/30/50 mix into low/medium/high risk funds. A mixed bag of 5%-40% yield. I'm well aware of NAV erosion but so far most of my picks are appreciating in value and paying fat dividends.
I've also got a substantial allocation in tech stocks, S&P500, and crypto.

Any sum is life changing money. Observe
>Let M = Money owned
>t is epoch
>Mt = x
>M = M + y
>Where y >0, Mt' > x
Your life is objectively different

you still didn't explain how your life changed... maybe its you who are the true moron?

>M = M + y
If y is zero, M doesn't change. If y is greater than zero, M increase- effectively overwriting the value of the variable with a new value. How is this hard to understand?

100k in an index fund with 12% return rate pays for everything except rent for me.

Tell me why I should sacrifice all daily luxuries for the next 4 years to buy 100k worth of broad market ETFs?

I am the same as the anon you are bagging on.

Currently I have around $400k spread between MSFT, AMZN and BRK.B. About $10K between BTCI, SPYI, QQQI and some other one I don’t remember that does more of a global economy ETF with a 14% yield.

Lastly I have around $60k spread out between Roundhill/Yieldmax CC-ROC type products that I got into mid-April. I am up about 30-33% including any NAV erosion.

All I can say is that these CC type high yields need to be monitored closely but the gains are absolutely accurate.

With 100k which is my personal target, I could go down working three days a week not having to ever worry about not being able to afford basically anything I could ever ask for

Maybe if you 10X it with UTK yes, but if not 100K is really nothing
