Bulgaria accepting EU
How cucked are people going to be here? Everything WILL get more expensive and soon it will become a shithole like Germany price wise so any of the crypto i bought will have 5x less power because my cheap country transformed into a western shithole with western prices. Its impossible for me to make it this bullrun or maybe ever

You'll literally be fine. All inflation due to euro adoption is mild and temporary. That Bulgaria would have Germany prices is completely ridiculous.
>so any of the crypto i bought will have 5x less power
It depends on when you bought and the prices of the lev and euro at the time versus now. With that said the conversion should be negligible.

Don't forget that starting next year exchanges will have to report all user activity to your local tax authority
>As of 1 January 2026, crypto service providers in the EU will be required to collect, verify, and share certain data about their users on an annual basis with the tax authorities of the EU Member State in which they are registered for DAC8. This requirement also starts as of 1 January 2026, and clients should act now.

It was literally paradise before pic related.
Then this guy got put in the PM seat by a literal mobster, who ran an extortion racket gang, including people who would abduct and kill local crypto millionaires.
The mobster (Alexei Petrov) was shot shortly after but who knows how safe the country is now.

But to respond to OP:
Businesses are hiking prices, because it's about to become illegal to do so, so they're pricing in the next few years of inflation all at once.
If you're a wagie you'll suffer.
If you're a cryptofag, you should probably think of a plan B anyways, there's literal murder gangs for people who report their crypto there. Maybe they don't have police protection anymore, idk, but they used to have it when Alexei was in power silently (the police literally have footage of a man convicted of abductions, pushing Altinbashev into his Audi A6 hours before he was murdered / his ledger stolen from his home, and are saying they have no leads)...
Inflation is the least of your concerns before this place becomes inhabitable again.

Yep, they own the taxman and the banks.
I've received anonymous threats on Telegram asking for money (they clearly had my phone number from the authorities).
The mobsters mentioned in the articles above are all Alexei Petrov's former employees (from his "insurance" companies).
The IRS head is Rumen Spetsov, put there by Alexei Petrov.
Don't create any tax events, Bulgaria doesn't have exit tax so you can legally move elsewhere and cash out.
Ideally a 0% tax rate place.

Finally - the worst part about my extortion was that I barely had any money to begin with.
Not sure what caused it.
I did go to a few banks to hypothetically ask how to withdraw large sums.
And I did have accounts on Bulgarian exchanges.
And I have visited the Sofia crypto meetups from way back... when they'd do events in SoftUni back in 2015 or sth...
If it wasn't for Sui mooning hard I wouldn't be able to afford Dubai...

Many items were more expensive in Bulgaria than in other European countries, because the people importing them to Bulgaria usually decide to squeeze as much as possible. It's just more visible now, when the average guy has internet and is not afraid to order online.

It's incredibly well run, so I try to appreciate that.
The part that gets me is that it's a desert and I'm used to walking 15+km/day.
It's also mostly Indians here, so if you're not driving a Nissan Patrol they'll make your existence on the roads a living hell.
I had like 200k when I came and AVAX mooned shortly after, followed by Sui. Now I'm well off financially, but that just means living like I would have in Sofia with 10k/month which I was making at my last job anyway.
If I had my current money in Sofia, I'd be ballin'.
And... Dubai is kinda lonely, ngl, I meet interesting people but they all work 60h weeks, the only people with my levels of spare time are crypto scammers who I don't want to associate with.

This anon is mostly correct, but I have to disagree with Stoyan Panchev on some points.
The Greece scenario was still wildly superior to what would have happened to them with the same levels of debt without the Eurozone.
We were heading towards Greek levels of debt after Asen Vasilev anyway with 4-5% budget deficits (cut to 3% by draining money off government companies that needed to reinvest).
Then the actual Kostya Kopeikin decided that it he bumps that to 10% by doubling policeman wages, the Eurozone would not want us. This stupid nigger actually made the eurozone the better choice because of that.

I'm hoping for the same as the prices don't make sense compared to mean Sofia salaries. Only people saying prices will go up are real estate agents. I hope to see like 10-20% dip or sth, but ya a lot of people dug up their cash that was under their mattresses to buy apartments, that's why so many deals are done with cash and why we have the highest amount of real estate deals in the last 20 years. 0 iq take.
Switzerland is not tax free, in fact he'll pay about three times the amount he'd owe in Bulgaria, and that's just the "tax friendly" cantons.
I literally recommended him the same, but with an actual 0 tax jurisdiction, but apparently you can't read.
>>60864963
If you become a tax resident, and more importantly - stop being a tax resident in Bulgaria, it's that easy.
You need to check the double taxation treaty between Bulgaria and Switzerland, I've only read the one between Bulgaria and the UAE, because that's what I care about, but my lawyer says it's the most basic one - spend 183 days in a calendar year outside of Bulgaria, and inside the other country, and you're good.
Most tax treaties also have two other major points - habitual abode (where do your two-way flights return to) and "center of interest" - aka where are your kids going to school, where does your wife live, etc. Again, depends on the actual treaty, but usually, if you're in the clear on all 3 - you're good (in the absence of exit tax, which luckily is the case for Bulgaria).
Now I'm not sure if you can get permanent residency in Switzerland. They're not part of the EU, so even though they're part of Schengen, you may be easily allowed to enter, but not as easily allowed to stay, you'll need to talk to international tax planning experts on this one.

The average Bulgarian is way wealthier than you'd think, they just don't declare anything to the taxman, and statistics only show what the taxman's been told.
Bulgarians have great social mobility with 10% flat on everything, and another 40% capped for the first 1500 euros/month.
Now those 1500 euros/month will grow and grow, as will the minimal salary, making it harder to evade tax, which will make Bulgarians richer on paper and poorer in reality.

The entirety of Europe is going bad, but I do admit the West at least has its nice villages.
But when it comes to cities, even corrupt EEU countries are much safer than WEU.
The microstates are also based, probably the best places to live in Europe, alongside Switzerland.

It’s funny how you eastern euros have been brainwashed to think that there must be corruption. Like it’s a cope how you justify living in such a nigger existance to yourself. Nah, we simply have way less corruption and crime than you guys. It’s isn’t a rule of nature.

It's funny how westoids have been brainwashed to think that Epstein never had a list, that Swedish politicians just decided to import hundreds of thousands of criminals through the border, and that 1 million euro found in cash in an EU politician's office before voting for Qatari visa exemptions just happened to be there (oh, and the other 190+ people who voted in favour also weren't bribed).

Your countries are corrupt af, in fact they're corrupt on a larger scale than the EEU. The fucking Berlin airport scam is bigger than probably 10 years of corruption in Bulgaria.

You just don't have access to that corruption, but those who do make up for that by being extra greedy.

And you have WAY more crime, wtf are you smoking, go walk around Tallinn or Plovdiv, or Wroclaw, or Cluj, or Zagreb, idc, you might actually see what a high trust society looks like. Stores don't just randomly get robbed, products can be placed outside of the owner's view, knowing that no nigger will steal them, doors are left unlocked, etc.

Meanwhile you can't spend 3 days in Berlin/Paris/Brussels without getting robbed.

I got royally fucked by Bulgaria but as bitter as I am I can't possibly agree with your nonsense, anon... Stick to saying "at least our villages are nice" because otherwise you're making a fool of yourself.

P.S. 2025 was the first year in which Bulgaria accepted more immigrants from Germany and Bulgarians returning, than Bulgarians moving to Germany. And the country isn't getting that much better, it's Germany that's being turned to shit in record time.
