Let's look at the last year, or even YTD. Gold is up more than btc, hell even silver is! Everything has cycles. I sold 90% of my btc holdings a month after the etfs and have now rotated into miners. The upside to btc at this point is small compared to the upside of miners in this market.

That's irrelevant. Miners mine the physical product, they have inventories of the physical product, they sell the physical product. As a shareholder you hold a share of that. That doesn't magically disappear because of overleveraged paper trade. Even in the case of a huge debt collapse crashing the paper market, the prices will shoot right back up as it always does for PMs. Holding diversified miner stocks would do just fine through that.
