Americans live in castles
While Europeans live in squalor and abject poverty.

Transplant spotted and opinion disregarded. Go back to wherever you came from. We would literally rather deal with Mexicans.

The heat is so intense there that you can’t leave your air conditioned house for 3 or 4 months out of the year. Deserts are barren for a reason, and retards think they figured out some genius life hack when they buy property there.

I remember a coworker of mine from Texas was bragging about how he doesn't pay state taxes but when we did the math he was paying the most because he was the only one with an HOA and Texas has pretty high property tax. HOAs are way more common down south. The only people around me who have them are in condos. It was like $300 a month compared to $130 in taxes

Has anyone ever known a person/couple/family to live in a house like this? I've seen them out in the open and in neighborhoods I drove past for my job and could never imagine what someone living in a house like that was like. The house itself is soulless and I have to wonder if the people are the same as well. When I see these things on ZIllow everything seems to lack any personality at all and the only sign of life might be "muh sportsball team" poster.

I imagine living in these houses is like what being on Adderall or Xanax is like.

As anons mentioned, it's probably a locl area without amenities and the construction is not high quality (though not cardboard and paper machet either). Not mentioned is that it's probably in a tract of dozens of other such houses and various incentives for developing a shitty area, all of which reduces costs for the builder.

Lol tiny single car garage, house looks like it's not even 1000 sqft.
Why bother building sometby new so tiny?
Just get a prefab tiny home at that point

>When I see these things on ZIllow everything seems to lack any personality
Houses are usually prepped for showing, which means removing your massive shelf of Funko pops and ahegao pattern couch. And if it's a new construction obviously there'd be no former occupants with which to express a personality.

I would like to live in a bunker far away from society. I don't need a fucking castle for that. It's even something I could do with my moomoo if everything goes well. The world is a very cruel place after all

You legit can't build a good house for $250k anyway, it's a shitbox. Pig with lipstick. Those tiles are cheap as fuck looking, and probably so is everything else.

Minimum to build something decent at like 2k square feet would be around $500k that's JUST to build and then you need to buy the land.
