Fractional tier list in terms of lower premiums & affordability (DCAing):

A tier: 5 g
B tier: 1/4 oz.
C tier: 1 g
D tier: 1/10 oz.

Why the hell is 5g random bars so much closer to spot than 1/4oz coins? That's a big difference. Like I understand the 1/4 oz gold eagles are minted coins, but god damn that's a big premium versus the 5g gold, even if you get it from a non-random mint.

I think it has to do with reselling in the states. Grams are an odd-weight for most LCSs, there isn't that instant recognition of an AGE coming from some random 5g bar (PAMP sometimes offers a higher premium). Overall, it's just a tougher sell, and most people would only offer melt if you're lucky, but usually slightly below melt for one. However, despite all of these factors, I still don't give a shit, henceforth, fo just pure stacking I'm going to focus on the grams w/ assay.

It's a good start, but make sure your portfolio is balanced with some beans and bullets.

You don't want to be put in a corner where you need to trade valuable metal for cheap food because you're starving.

You don't want to have your stuff robbed because you couldn't take out a home invader.

My country taxes the shit out of all crypto profits. Selling silver physically is for physical fiat is not traceable though. I don't get your point. I'm 2x on my gold and silver, which is a safe investment and basically my real retirement fund. I'm 100% comfy no stess owning a boat load (sadly lost at sea) of physical gold and silver. I won't sell unless I have to, hopefully giving it to the future generation or if I see other good investments, which I can't say I do atm.

hate to be the bringer of bad news but
1. it's not an auto-win. Prices will most likely reflect pre-gold standard value of things, which may or may not open up opportunities because there is simply NOT enough to go around and form an economy.
2. people in power always play dirty to stay in power, that's been as true throughout history as the value of gold and silver. Expect some absolute bullshit like it being illegal tender "to defend against choina" or whatever BS they come up with to force CBDC onto you, which will force us into black markets for a few years. Even if the fucking system crumbles, it'll take some years to re-calibrate all the shit, usually that means surprise war, made-up crisis (Covid-2 electric boogaloo anyone?) or straight up dystopia with whatever Palantir is cooking
The right play will be obvious in hindsight, pay CLOSE attention to what rich fucks are doing. If you catch three of them fucking off to New Zealand or Kasachstan (seriously rising nation btw) and there's still flights you better get packing.
I'm talking out of my ass here but I am extremely pessimistic, because they HATE you and me.

Really depends on what Trump's ultimate goal with it is. It still has a chance to pump for the chosen winners, especially is Trump goes all in on the Made in USA/crypto capital stuff because it does have some technological value as far as blockchain technology goes.

As far as a pure speculation play or financial play, it looks grim without government intervention which is entirely possible if Trump thinks the USA is screwed on accumulating PMs and has to go hard into crypto to cover the USD losses.

it was a well-intentioned idea taken to its jewish extreme.
Contracts, digitized and decentrally verified by the masses in theory are a nice idea (if very energetically retarded at that) - sadly they made it retarded and gay when they threw wall street at it. As well as human nature to scam when in dire times (tons of living people actually, and now all these fuckers have internet too).
It actually came up besides all those ideas from the 2010 of digital statehood, computer law and direct democracy. TPTB (jews and politishits) couldn't have their golden goose slaughtered so some finance magic later it's now REALLY gay.
Silver and Gold are what humanity deserve - impossible to create without spending way more than you put in.

Any ideas how to know what rich people are doing? I hear they’re building bunkers for social unrest scenarios (not nuclear holocaust because they wouldn’t be able to live in it long-term). Additionally I have been hearing about the wealthy having robot armies / AI to defend themselves and enslave humanity.

I myself come from a piss-poor family and only rake together what little info floats through here and vindicates itself through time, first was the homo-shit after gamergate, then it was COVID, and from there I stacked.
Rich people tend to follow patterns, if you work at a big company you know the type
- thinks he is very smart due to being rich
- thinks he can throw money and people at everything to solve problems
- thinks IT is some nerds hacking at a keyboard until the machine does what he envisioned
- short term >>> long term (jews are forcing this, it's either being really dumb or "fuck you got mine" mentality)
- faith in their own judgement of news articles makes them VERY susceptible to propaganda
- they mingle in closed circles a lot and treat the opinions of the other rich fucks they meet there as gospel, that's why so many rich "smart" fucks fall for "consulting" or obvious bullshit like AI
- feel too rich to really know anything
So the disappointing conclusion is pick a magazine you'd think smart people read and you'll find what they parrot, financial times is a quick one.
From there it's all kinds of mental illnesses, because you have to be at least a little bit psychopath to get rich by ass-licking in the first place, or inherit which means you don't value actual labour.
Some rich guys build bunkers, a ton of them will just follow suit - it's not a huge investment for them.

their archilles heel is believing in the market like it's star signs. Everything reflects from prices of goods is their genuine belief, since they have read a book or two about history and think the plebes all think alike, so if you move Iron into country A they'll all get new tools for a quick example.
Did I mention they're mostly boomers really bad at the internet? That's why AI is so overhyped, finally they can just TELL the computer what they need. It didn't solve the problem yet so they threw money at OpenAI and pay people to wrestle with it until it's "good enough", blissfully unaware that they're getting duped by big tech once again. If you want to see one of the really dumb rich fucks out in the open, google Masayoshi Son, the dude who regularily burns huge amounts of Softbank's money.
Nuclear Holocaust is not entirely off the table. There's rich useful idiots ("corruption") and then there's the elites (Klaus Schwab-tier), the latter want YOU dead because it came to them in a dream that 8B people are too much. Less people also means they have to share less. As for who shoots first, my money is on Israel. Read up on schizophrenia levels in jews for a scary kek.
Their robot armies are promised to them by Elon - they don't know yet that an Elon promise is as good as toilet paper. Nevertheless, Killer Drones powered by Palantir will be a thing. Already being tested in Shitholes. If they didn't need an alibi to unleash them, they'd already do that.

There will be tons of reactions from the rich fucks facing financial desaster, some will immediately run over to china with their wealth to leech off them, some will burn all their money in their hubris to stay in power, some will simply disappear. Time will tell, but a whole ton of "useful rich idiots" will basically act according to their bible, the FT.

Probably, but there is very little upside left, if any. BTC and eth both hit aths and honestly it felt like no one gave a shit and the market reflected that. The pumps felt faker than ever and they didn’t last long at all before dumping back down. Everything else is still down at least 50% or more from their 2024 prices. Just about every narrative got played out and I don’t see what else there is left that would cause a mass migration of retail to buy back in. Coinbase can’t even onboard people despite all the effort they put in over the last year.

Also, when the price of silver gets high enough it will unironically cause an economic collapse because of all of the short positions against it, which will fuck up the mechanisms that will allow you to withdraw or spend any of your money. I use Fidelity as a broker, and Fidelity uses JPMorgan Chase (they have the largest metals short positions) as a banking partner for certain types of transactions, specifically wire transfers. So when JP Morgan goes bust I will not be able to transfer any money out of Fidelity.

The banks won't go bust because the fed will just do an emergency bailout for "systemically important" banks. And if they don't, Congress will just force them anyway. But that also accelerates inflation from the fed taking on more junk assets on its balance sheet. >That's how it has worked for a long time, that's changing with them utilizing AI
AI is just the latest buzzword. Give me an example of how AI will actually work to find "bad guys" and not edgy basement dwellers. Israel's goal is to exterminate the Palestinians, so it matters not if they hit the correct house, because their AI "Lavender" gave them the pretextual justification.

We've been using metadata to kill people for decades and it only works in permissive enviroments where you can postfacto declare the corpses killed by hellfires were "enemy combatants" even if they were 11 year old girls.

You're talking about actions taken against American citizens on US soil via constitutionally limited law enforcement with at least SOME legal checks and balances.

I know that UK is scanning text and email messages looking for evidence of tax cheating. Good luck with busting the babysitter for undeclared income.

The AI and comprehensive surveillance works really well going the other direction, building network node maps of connections to identify key players once you've identified an individual. BTW, they've had this tech PRE internet, specifically, the DEA had staff located at ATT offices (avoiding the need for warrants) and would build network maps of drug dealer networks. Even if someone changed their number, unless the entire network changed all their numbers, the person could be identified WITHOUT EVEN INTERCEPTING THE AUDIO.

The reason why I'm so cynical is because I have peripheral experience in this field. Sieving the data ultimately has to be done by a skilled analyst because automated systems are retarded.

Do you remember the case where a guy was awarded a million bucks because a drug sniffing dog sniffed his seat, so he was arrested, taken to the hospital, forcibly drugged and given a colonscopy against his will, all because a drug dog liked his burrito farts left in the seat?

Hypothetically speaking if a stacker won 80% of the 1.3 billion power ball and cashed out with roughly 400 million, which metal would that stacker invest in and how, to crash the markets? Would silver be the best bet or would it be platinum which our government is shorting currently? Or is 400 million not enough and the stacker should get like 1o million in silver and spend the rest on land and houses overseas because this country is about to go tits up. The point isn't about where people buy crypto or how easy the process is, its about whether people want to buy it. From the looks of it, it's a resounding no. Maybe if the government pulls another covid stimi check type of handout there MIGHT be some hope but even then I don't think people would spend their money on crypto this time around like they did in 2021. The environment was different back then and there was a lot going on. Institutions pumped billions into crypto this time around and the sentiment is still in bear market territory. Part of why I said there is nothing anyone can do to increase sentiment. Elon's tweets alone used to pump the market. So many bullish events/announcements happened this year alone that, in any other year, would have giga pumped the market. Meanwhile we have what we have. It all simply comes down to the fact that no one gives a fuck.

NOT for every premium, but near spot you basically lock your money (your worked value) in right there.

Long term you are 100% correct. Short term inflation effects different things at different rates. Ie there is a lag for some things. M2 is increasing over 5%/year so everything will go to infinity, but PMs will go up faster because gold anticipates the inflation and silver will eventually slingshot once gold pulls ahead far enough.

BTW, looks like we're headed towards $41 for the new floor very soon.

Dollar strengthening is the main thing that could tank metals, but I really doubt it can very much again anytime soon. The long end of the US bond yield curve is staying stubbornly high no matter how Trump and the fed keep teasing rate cuts. The fed can only lower the overnight interest rates. The 20 and 30 year yields is what Trump really wants to bring down, so he can refinance the national debt. If it's hanging around 4.5 - 5%, they have to keep increasing debt at the short term yield side. And that's a self-feeding loop that only accelerates a bond market crisis. It's like trying to fight gravity and they're running out of rabbit hat pull tricks. Gravity will eventually win.

We stack because we want to have nothing to do with their crumbling empire of lies and fairy dust bullshit. We stack because we know this ponzi system based on the phagocyting of productive work via financialization of everything is doomed to fail very soon. But they are too subhuman and greedy to understand that.

They are so short sighted they can't even imagine their magic internet numbers going *poof* and leaving them with nothing to show for. This level of blind trust in decaying (((institutions))) truly is a sight to behold.
Anonymous (ID: mOpekZqi) No.60893708
Lowering the rates worked after QE in 2008 because that was still a new trick. But after a decade of keeping long term US bond yield rates bottomed out, other countries started seeking alternatives to saving in dollars. Over a decade, they've been gradually shifting from buying US treasuries to gold. Not as a form of currency, but as a reserve. The gold demand is reaching critical mass now, and the US can't lower long term rates because the demand for them simply isn't there anymore. The market won't buy them any lower. The US treasuries used to be the only real game in town for international reserves, but that's changed. The fed is stuck in a sand trap that's turning into quicksand.
Anonymous (ID: mOpekZqi) No.60893726
If you look at the most recent US treasury auctions, you can see the fed has been stealth buying up its own assets to make it look like there's more demand for them than there really is. This technique is called yield curve control and it's highly inflationary. It's helping create stagflation where relatively heightened interest rates are choking businesses but they can't lower the rates either because that would only accelerate the inflation. The fed has to both raise AND lower at the same time, and they can't. Eventually they'll give in and lower and let inflation run wild.

I think the average person is growing in awareness. They KNOW there's something deeply wrong even if they can't articulate what it is. Shaniqua just knows grocery prices and everything else is out of control. Over the last 4 - 5 years, you see terms like "doom spending" and "debt maxxing" sneaking into the lexicon. This is the beginning of low level awareness that the currency is worthless. People want to hold onto anything but the currency. When inflation goes out of control, people will buy anything they can get their hands on. ANYTHING. Clothes, Chinese crap, land, metals, food. That's what happens when faith in the (((money))) is lost.

(1) is extremely unlikely before another few centuries of technological advancements
(3) is outright science fiction
So it only leaves us with option (2) : banning & taxing. On a limited level, we can see on /pmg/ how efficient it might be. Look at the bongs, they feel "forced" to only stack gold becuz of the VAT on silver, and nobody can blame them for making the logical choice of 0% gold.

Thing is, richfags too want a way out for when SHTF, they'd shoot themselves in the foot if they forbid easy transactions of gold and silver.

So, realistically, i don't think there is any chance for PMs to take a massive nosedive in the current geopolitical situation. Sure, there could be another scamdemic like covid, or a massive war breaking out who'd insta-crash the markets and by ricochet tank PMs, but that'd be short lived, like it was in 2020. And this time around i believe bullion dealers protected themselves to face this kind of situation, with algos pushing the premiums up if the spot suddently drop.
They wont be caught with their pants down like they were in March 2020 when spot bottomed @12. They learned their lesson. I know it first hand because back then i timed the bottom with 4x 5kg bars and i've never seen an online seller seethe so much and refusing so badly to deliver the shit. I had to threaten them with legal pursuits after 8 months of constantly delaying my delivery before i got my stuff. Every week on the phone they begged me to cancel the order lol.

Looking back through this ytd with analysis
>January-April there was steady growth of about 75 cents per month, got up to 34 at peak
>Crash down to 29.60, then a crabbing of the previous norm at 33 until the start of June
>Growth of more than 1 dollar a month since then, no crabbing
It has been a nearly crabless year, only 3 months of crabbing, 6 months of growth. The economic problems are still there. Personally I'd bet on 3 months of growth, off-chance of a crash + crab combo but that's fairly unlikely.

I think the question is whether it's a 2008 situation or a 2020 situation, but it's probably neither and a spike of its own.
We have no comparable data out there, 2020 clearly had a very defined reason for why the price had to spike, but 2024 and 2025 have had no massive inflation, no real instability compared to what we had in the past, on the surface these have been some of the most stable two years of my life. The growth is sustained though, not just a flash like in 2020 where it all came at once. This one trickled in over 9 months of a gradual shift of money into PM's.
It seems like a bigger shift than any in the past because of this, there was no big event that should be causing this.

Technically you guys might all be correct, but I prefer the term exponential or "goes vertical" or "goes to infinity" in the case of hyperinflation where the money approaches zero and the price of gold/silver goes toward infinity.

I always thought of parabolic as a trajectory of a bullet or an object in thrown in the air or a minima/maxima equation (y=x2)

one would say "market forces provide arbitrage opportunities" (grug can make more stone by selling at specific moon due to imbalance in stone values) but frankly, converting PMs to FIAT right now might be high opportunity cost (grug throw future rocks away, grug high time preference like nog tribe) unless you IMMEDIATELY convert it into goods like land. Not even a house is long-term safe, doesn't matter at all if you live in it though.
but yeah, markets move fast but overall macro trends like PMs vs. FIAT tend to move glacial until they don't, and we're not yet that the "they don't" part, you'd know from absolute panic and gomorrah.

Collectables are worth most during rising economic times. They are highly deflationary in economic crisis, and unlike gold and silver, typically require controlled enviromnental conditions to hold their value.

Nothing wrong with them if you got them at a low price, or they hold great personal value for you.

white stamps are works of art, there's a reason people collect them.
Indian stamps, just like all their advertisements or political campaigns, are just their ugly, undistinguishable mugshots.
Anyways, I've been to India once for work. I wanted to send post cards from Bangalore. Impossible to find, had some locals help me (they're nice to castes over their own, to which whites apparently belong).
I was advised to bring them straight to the post office instead of throwing them into the respective post bin because there have been instances of the stamps getting stolen.
Indian stamps for international postcards cost one rupee 25 paise (100 paise = 1 rupee), i.e. not even $0.02. They get stolen.
