Try convincing me otherwise, I'm waiting.

> Crypto
Money. It means power, safety, possessions, and stealing other people's skills and time.
Of course this makes it the biggest competition ever known to man.

if you think a $3 trillion zero-sum game brings out the worst in people, just wait until the entire world becomes actual zero-sum over the next 80 years.

crypto has been a fantastic learning opportunity

Wanting to prepare my family, friends and others for the future is part of why I finally looked past the 'risk' of investing. I'd considered stocks and PMs (do have those too) but crypto has out-performed them even with my (overly) safe ways.
But can crypto and anything that makes major money turn some people crazy? Definitely. Hence all the advice about not randomly telling people IRL you are rich, mine crypto, etc. I heard more about people having their homes broken into and their BTC miners stolen, more than I heard about the price increase of BTC, back in the day.

Didn't Larry Fink predict in an interview that due to developments in tech/AI/crypto the rules will change and in the future very populated countries might have an enourmous economic disadvantage in comparison to low populated ones? I thought about that. I tend to believe him this, because it is increasingly imaginable.
