People will outright vote for and offer material support for fascism or communism if it actually visibly helps their lives. The problem with trumpreich and Kier Stormer is they are failing at this very simple task, the former screaming about job numbers while empowering massive AI and tech entities to delete jobs and import foreign workers for the rest. If any western leader promised to disappear people who are destroying people's occupations, again easy win, the nation is good and best and no reason to revolt. But these people are so out of touch and greedy they won't even put up guardrails for citizens on the brink of homelessness. It will come crashing down and the upper classes will be the most suprised as they don't know how badly they've fucked the field. The problem if or when it happens is when does the cutting stop? How many of you have too nice of a car and house to not become antifa nkvd targets of a prole revolt?
