I know I'm cherry picking but in 3rd world countries with hyperinflation. The stablecoins do kinda solve the problem. With the dollar denominated stablecoin, the bartender doesn't get fucked if the price of beer jumps 50% while your drinking.

It's not that it's poison, it just isn't actually useful. Alcohol numbs the pain, but it doesn't actually resolve anything. Sitting with yourself for a week and asking what is actually going on inside does more than a whole lifetime of drinking can do.
