Has anyone on here even started an actual buisness?

If so, explain what it is.

Yes, I lay cinder blocks. All the houses here are built out of them, so I always have plenty of work. I gross around $6,500–$7,000 a week for a 6-day workweek and work only half the year.

Yes, many diff industries and models. In the US the biz owner gets to be victimized by customers, employees, banks, and the govt bc it's mostly a scam. HOWEVER, if you have investors then it's a free ride. If you can run a biz by yourself it's not bad if you can make money and not sink you time and resources into (eg franchise owner/operator). Hiring contractors over employees if possible is always the way to go. And as I mentioned before, getting funded is the way to go; otherwise, your going to get rugged. Safest plays are always: cleaning, landscaping, HVAC, ecommerce, bookkeeping, and other various blue collar ventures.

Start your business as a hobby until you have your first customer otherwise you're spending a bunch of money on something that may fail right outta the gate.
