I am 25 and make 18 dollars an hour and all my peers I know and former classmates are either working retail or construction for 15 dollars an hour. The average rent in my area is 1200 and I am desperate to get away from my crazy BPD mother who finally realized she alienated everyone in her life and when I’m gone she’ll be utterly alone and it’s making her fucking crazy and creepy towards me. Can someone explain to me how I’m supposed to survive this situation? All I want is a life.

Do what I could never do and save as much money as you can and then get in your car and drive all night without notice to west virginia where the rent is like 500 bucks for a shed in charleston. Then become an actor.

At this point do not be afraid to go apeshit loanmaxxing and perhaps even creditmaxxing, just finish the fucking degree as fast as humanly possible. Make gizmos and shit on the side and get internships to the fullest extent you can as well
