Trump is the greatest thing to happen to Canada. Before Europe + Asia would ship products in bulk to the US and it would get distributed up to Canada. But now because of Tariffs they are shipping DIRECTLY to Canadian ports, and there are new ports opening with twice the amount of jobs then the steel sector. And the best part the shipping ports can be used for exporting to. Before there was no need for canadian shipping ports now sellers can make +20% more profit margin by selling directly to Canada, so there is a demand for them.
