yes, congrats you realized that life is utterly meaningless if taken at face value. we work to stay alive, be comfortable in a home, have stuff, have food, to continue working, and one day you will die.

you have become numb to what it's like to struggle and make less-than-decent money. your life is too comfortable and you cannot even fathom what it would be like if you lost some of that comfort. why work to save and invest? to continue being comfortable now and into the future. if you don't want that then you can just stop working and that comfort will decline gradually then rapidly.
as corny as it sounds, many believe in "Love" in that they love a woman, and wish to merge genes with her to reproduce little offspring copies that are half her genes and half your genes. you love her, you find her qualities to be beautiful, and thus you want to preserve them. you preserve this person by taking care of her and the offspring you create with her. this Love purpose only makes sense if she also loves you, and she loves herself and her genes (based on her rel. with her parents, siblings, family, etc.), and you also love yourself and your genes (based on your rel with your family).
if you hate yourself, your genes, your family, then you would have no interest in producing copies of yourself by mixing your shit genes with someone else, even if that someone else is beautiful. and if that someone else doesn't love you then they wouldn't be interested in mixing their genes with you, unless they only had financial motivations (get your money and get you to provide alimony).
long story short, you have to find meaning, either define it or accept what's given. or, live a meaningless life and cope using pleasures like casual sex, drugs, gambling, etc. these are just distractions from the sentiment that life is meaningless. but yes it is empty without a purpose. most cannot understand this. even though you seem smart you are utterly clueless
