Yes insider trading is a thing, but that's not the whole story, and more to the point, most people forget about the 'trading' part of this shit.
Holding isn't trading, and there is soooo much money to make in especially crypto trading not because it's a scam, but because people are retarded. The simple reality is that most people don't have the intellectual capacity for it, but they jump in the deep end anyway. You don't know how to read charts or follow trends, and you are too risk averse to ever take a risk (or you're a degenerate gambler taking on more risk than you should).
