>I'm just trying to amass as much gold as I can, and add silver when nice designs or nexts in series come by.
The most cost effective way to get gold is to buy silver. The ratio is around 86:1. When silver spikes (gold leads first, then silver slingshots) the ratio closes, and you can trade your silver for more gold than your money would have otherwise bought, had you originally just bought the gold.
Three times in the 20th century, the silver-gold ratio dropped to approximately 20:1.
Once so far this century (2011) the ratio dropped to 30:1. Three times so far this century, the silver-gold ratio dropped to or very near 40:1
Buying silver at 86:1 ratio and selling it for gold when the ratio drops to 40:1 or better means you DOUBLE the amount of gold that the same money buys. If the silver-gold ratio increased to 120:1 I would be selling some gold to get more silver.
The exception to this would be if you MUST have your precious metals in a format that you can easily hide, or if you live in a jurisdiction like the EU where there is a 20% VAT on silver but no tax on sovereign gold coins.

Jeet doesn't want you buying silver to drive the price up and make it unaffordable to his family living in the village back in India. He also gets paid by Unit 8200 to post, so it's a win-win for him.
The (((bullion banks))) who are backstopped by the Federal Reserve don't want you buying silver because silver price rises undermines faith and confidence of the Federal Reserve Notes that most burgers have blind faith in.
Jeet is part of the social media anti-silver campaign. I must admit that the quality of posting was better when they actually used Jew shills. Jeet may even be a very primitive chatbot run by a barely literate Indian.

Most people do not appreciate the exponential decay of fiat currencies. Current M2 creation rate is around 4.5% which is an exponential function with a doubling time of 14.5 years.
The RATE of M2 creation increases as the US debt increases, so you end up with an exponential function that increases over time. If one were to graph it, it would look something like picrel.
Here is a timestamped video link with a fair description of the grim future Americans will almost certainly face.

Based on the 40+ year cup and handle pattern, IF the pattern holds true, (the rise above the handle is equal to the depth of the cup) expect silver to eventually hit $370USD.
If you own 1000 oz of silver it has a high probability of eventually being worth $370,000USD.

We've spoken to a number of friends and families. Virtually all are NPCs who won't consider buying silver until AFTER it has significantly risen.
Silver is an example of a Giffen good. As the price rises, demand for it increases.

Nicely toned, and silver @ $17. I presume you know it will still go up multiples over the next couple of years. Also, some JM bars have a collector's value premium.

It's already over $42. I predicted it would close the year at $42.50. It's incredible and a little worrisome. $50 still seems too high by the end of the year. It will probably hit resistance at $45 or have a correction. It will probably close the year north of $45.

The Federal Reserve WILL step in to prevent any systemic risk to the global financial system.
Their only real tools are the printing press and the fed funds rate, so they will use one or the other to firehose the system. Net result: MORE INFLATION, silver & gold go up even more.

Silver money was preferred in the western states to a much greater extent than the eastern ones. Possibly because the silver mining industry was located in the western USA.
I can't find the reference on short notice, but I read about it a couple of weeks back.
Carson City Nevada was the location of a US Mint facility. That's the CC on the bar in picrel.

Correct, the panic drives a bull market that will temporarily go even higher than the eventual true market clearing price for silver.
This is why stackers need to PREPLAN an exit strategy. WHEN will you take some profits. My strategy is to swap some silver for gold when the ratio closes, and/or use gold/silver to buy property when prices eventually correct.
Rick Rule said one of his biggest mistakes was NOT selling (mining shares) when silver peaked. He lost a ton of gains because he didn't have an exit strategy preplanned.

Expect some minor pullbacks, maybe in the $43-44 range. It's not going back down to the 30s ever again. At current prices, you can still expect multiples of gains.
Even at $50, silver will still be a bargain, like gold was at $2000.

Riddle me this, /pmg/, when normalfags inherit small coin collections, why do they sell them off ASAP?
I mean I understand why they sell off large collections to get a decent windfall, but in my experience of going to Estate Sales, it's pretty common to see people selling off really small collections they inherited with less than 10 ozt. of total Silver. It's so small that there's no difficulty in storing the coins and no money was spent to acquire the collection, so why liquidate immediately when you can wait for prices to go up or just hang onto the coins as a memento?

They've got a house worth 200,000 and 100 other things in the house worth a bunch of money, and in their brain silver is one of those things worth money and they have to sell it to move on and have less things to worry about.

The big boys doing the shorting are backstopped by the Fed. Keeping the price of silver from going on a tear helps preserve the confidence in the US Federal Reserve Notes. So long a silver goes up slowly and haltingly enough, it won't catch enough momentum to trigger a bull run.
It's not about keeping silver at a certain price anymore like it used to be. Now it's about managing the rise.

In that case, gold is your friend. They will BOTH go up multiples, but I understand silver is a better value now. I also can appreciate how quickly a substantial stack can become problematic.
If you can't physically carry it in one trip, and you don't own your own property, it's a bit of a problem. Metal ammo cans are discrete. You can get 750+ oz of mixed cointubes/bars in one 50 cal. metal ammo can, and carry two cans if strong enough.
As a bonus, nigger stealing your cans can't outrun you.

American ammo boxes are the Acme of engineering and design. It just shows you how much of an industrial powerhouse America was in her prime. Her ammo cans are better quality, built to tighter specifications than some of the weapons issued to some armies.
Russia puts their ammo in a spam can protected by a wooden box.
American ammo cans make perfect storage containers for silver because they are airtight, waterproof and strong enough to take the weight of the silver. They are also ubiquitous and don't attract attention since people use millions of them for mundane storage tasks.
They have somewhat limited availability in Canada and probably are rare and expensive in Europe. I believe the Canadian military is so cheap (poor) that they reuse their containers.

The worst part is they sell like hot cakes and buyers are so incredibly retarded they genuinely leave good review for the most part. And if the scammers' reviews drop below 90% they simply create a new account in few clicks.
Ebay doesn't take any action against this plague, they even cover them by cancelling the reports they get for breaching the code of conduct.
This crap wont fool experienced stackers, but there are so many of these craps out there in the wild... better be careful when you second hand purchase. Same goes with numismatics.

I hate this shit in the wild because it creates more friction for future sales of my stock. This is why Eagles are often worth their premium. If you have a known good specimen, the fake will either fail on size, weight or ping. As some pointed out the magnetic slide test can be tricked by copper, but will fail the density (specific gravity test) and or the weight and size test.
Random bars can by tricky, and as the price if silver goes up, we run the risk of drilled and filled bars.

Yeah, i used to purchase 10kg bars back in 2019, but that's not something i'd do again (not that i can afford any at current spot to begin with kek). I mainly focus on (foreign) junk now, it's not really worth faking considering how easy it is to verify (well known dimensions and always the exact same ping for each kind of coin). Plus it's now the only thing you can still hope to find for below spot if you search hard enough, on top of lucking out key dates every once in a while.

Legally we're required to report transactions greater than $10k per customer per fiscal year.
these transactions must be cash or similar (bank draft, money order, travelers checks, wire transfers)
and they must be related... In your case you're buying close enough that they will probably see it as related.
so yeah, they're supposed to report that to the IRS if you go over $10k and are spending anonymously (not from your bank account or credit card). Whether they'll spot it or not I don't know.
also the number of transactions doesn't matter. If you buy 10,001 items separately for one dollar each they have to report it. The report is for the purpose of catching crime like money laundering or tax evasion, so if you're not doing any crime they're not going to care about the report.

I'd take the thousand coins because I can test them non-destructively. Trying to think where I could find a scale big enough and accurate enough to do a density test on 1000 oz of silver.
Molybdenum has a density of 10.2g/cm3 Silver has a density of 10.49g/cm3, and Mo has a very high melting point but a silver plated Mo bar could be very difficult to spot without drilling.

afaik banks in the US also report ANY transaction over $10k going into or out of your account.
this doesn't matter if you're not doing crimes. E.g. I have several hundred thousand dollars go into and out of my accounts every year. The banks report it to the IRS, but it doesn't matter because it's legal and I also report it on my taxes.

Im also paranoid at my bank being suspicious of me since I just save up my paychecks in my account without doing anything, and lately I've been buying a lot of silver.

If you're spending from your own account it won't matter because your bank reports it.
however if you're spending cash or money orders or whatever then yes, buying from different dealers will avoid the report.
however your bank may still flag you withdrawing $10k in cash during the year, so they're going to report it anyways. They just won't know what you spent it on.

None of this is a problem if you're not breaking the law
and if I was going to do it I would withdraw cash from my account and then spend it at several different places. The bank will flag the cash withdrawal but nobody will know where the money went.
I don't really bother though because I get audited by my bank, my insurance, my accountant, and the IRS every year so I'm not hiding shit.

What's interesting is that despite the 7:1 silver to gold production ratio, unlike for gold, silver actually gets consumed, so there is much less available silver above ground. We still have most of the gold ever mined on earth.
More than half of the silver that has been ever mined has been consumed, much of it in ways that are unrecoverable. A Tomahawk cruise missile has 500 oz (15kg) of silver that gets vaporized when the warhead detonates.
Rockets sent into space with thousands of oz of silver. Sonobuoys sinking to the bottom of the ocean. Silver-zinc batteries are at the heart of many different weapons systems because they have high energy density and have a decade or longer shelf life and still produce 100% of rated energy on demand.
Silver is an essential industrial metal that is in a structural deficit of 200 million oz per year, yet they were practically giving it away for years at $30 or less per oz.

Smart burgers know that the American economy is built on an unsustainable bubble of debt so big that when it pops it will swallow not just 90% of the American gdp but most of the rest of the world as well. Not the end of the world, but for every developed country it will be an economic catastrophe. Remember, America's Great Depression caused a global collapse. This will be worse. Unless you are already living in a barter economy and have something to barter with, you are going to feel it.

No one will save DE in return, no Ukraine or Afghanistan wil help out in return for example. Rotshild-UK/Pound is fine out of EU/EURO, he, he. Fly over this here:

Also nice Gold prognosis he gives at the end. He was once DEGUSSA (too expensive for me) mainseller, now has own shop (but too expensive for me too) in Schwitzerland. Cheper stores in de are: Deutsche Reisebank (Volksbank substitute, nice prices), AGOSI (nice prices) ProAurum (From Munich), Philloro (From UK), Goldvorsorge, ESG, or just gold.de (Very good, like local coin store, good prices). HERAEUS is fine too, but too expensive again for me little working ant. Nice downfall - SchΓΆnen Untergang.

OK well, I'm linking a video but will give a QRD for people who don't want to watch. This is for junk silver, 90%.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMCfENC1XyI [Open]
>About 9 billion dimes made
>4 billion quarters
>1.5 billion half dollars
So they actually seem somewhat equal-ish in terms of how much silver was put into each group - the caveat being that the dimes probably had a higher probability of being lost / destroyed in some way since they're so small, not many people will ever lose a half dollar.
So - he did the math with these - just over 2 billion troy ounces of junk silver were ever minted.
If every american wanted an equal amount of half dollars we'd only get 5 each - and that's with all of them surviving. 1.5 billion is actually a really small number initially, when you realize that most of them got melted by the government gradually to make the new ones, and then they got melted by industry during like 4 or 5 price spikes that happened back then.
My guess? Maybe a 10% survival rate right now, but I've seen some thing from years ago saying it's 16%- this was years ago just off the top of my head.
So if it's a 10% survival rate that's only 150 million 90% half dollars. Even a 20% survival rate only gives you 300 million, and that's unrealistically high.

Checked.
This is to be expected of exponential functions.
That same length of time it took for the interest to double, will take us spending $1TN every 90 days down to every 45 days. And one more time period will take it down from 45 days to 22.50. Do it again and we'll go down to 10.75 etc.
Now, this is obviously impossible as the creation of money is far easier than people to be performing an equivalent amount of work. The government will have to make some sort of power play and that could entail something like reducing ALL bond coupons down to 1%. They will also reduce entitlements:
1 - The CPI is entirely bogus and is what is used to calculate Social Security increases.
2 - Insurance companies take our money an invest in treasuries. This allow the government to not default on bonds but instead default on INDIVIDUALS.
I think it is not well understood how the government goes out of its way to rob you in order to help ease the cost of resource strain. Ideally, all of the money I earn for Social Security could just be set aside in my own personal account. I can then give it to my family and children when I die. But this gives the game away: The tax-cattle by and large are not allowed to be accessing "compound interest" that exceeds their yearly income needs. They have to "eat up" your purchasing power and compel you to participate in these scams because they know that tax/interest is a drain. So they cannot allow the tax-cattle to become creditors. By eating up a huge chunk of your earnings (consider the median salary here), you remove the plebs' ability to do so. They can do so on the remainder of their income in 401ks etc (all things you can't really touch until you are 65). If your Social Security all landed in your own private hands, people would be retiring far too early. Interest only really works if you keep working to pay income taxes. As an axiomatic fact of America: The banks and government work to impoverish you.

There's two related ways this will happen:
-Keeping the interest rate down below via YCC
-Monetizing the debt via direct printing
The end result is the same, the Treasury holder's real value is stolen by the government.
>I think it is not well understood how the government goes out of its way to rob you in order to help ease the cost of resource strain.

Depends on which investments. If it's in hedge funds that invest in the Mag7, liquidate and move to silver/gold.
If it's in gold and silver miners, you're probably okay. When silver makes her bull run, EVEN SHITTY companies stock goes way up, but you have to cash out before the bubble pops.

>What do you think will happen in your scenario if they re value the metals?
There's a lot of misunderstanding about the revaluation of US gold reserves.
In the statutes, there is a law that allows the US Treasury to revalue the gold reserves held by the US government. They can then credit the treasury general account with newly created fiat equal to that valuation. Currently the gold reserves are valued at about $42/oz.
This does NOT directly change the price of gold on the world market, it's just an accounting trick, similar to proposals several years ago about creating a trillion dollar platinum coin.
It's just an accounting trick to allow the US government to do a one time devaluation of the currency. It takes advantage of an existing law that was written decades ago. It would INDIRECTLY effect the price of gold and silver (and other commodities) because of the increase in the money supply.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trillion-dollar_coin
Will gold and silver keep going up? A better question to ask is will the government cut spending, run a budget surplus and eventually pay off their debt?
The answer to the second question gives you teh answer to the first.

>If the price of silver has been artifically lowered this whole time
The price of silver has been kept low primarily by discouraging investors by keeping the price painfully volatile. By reducing investor demand to almost zero, demand for silver is reduced.
China is doing something similar, btw, to help keep the price low. Chinese citizens ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BUY SILVER BULLION, because the Chinese government and industry want to buy the metal for as low a price as possible. Eventually the Chinese government will allow the people to buy silver.
To recap, the American price suppression worked by making silver unattractive by artificially increasing downside volatility to discourage institutional investors, not by directly controlling the market price.
You see the manipulation today where just before COMEX opens, in after market trading, someone would sell massive amounts of silver short into the market to establish downward momentum, triggering the automated stop loss limits when the COMEX opened. They used to do even worse tricks known as "spoofing" where a large sell order is placed to drop the price, then cancelled before anyone could buy at the low price.
None of these tricks work once there is no available silver for sale left in the COMEX/LBMA vaults. The price of silver could jump 10 dollars in one day.

This isint the complete effect. A revaluation of gold is a defacto DEvaluation of everything else on the FEDs balance sheet, which is treasury bonds and MBSs. The effect of an immediate devaluation of the base debt instruments that underpin the global credit market could immediately break something. Goldβs price in fiat credit would be reflected in this by orders of magnitude, as a result of the debt devaluation not fiat inflation. You must understand that the debt money scheme only maintains its legitimacy while people believe that gold is NOT money. A statutory revaluation makes no sense under this paradigm and so they only conclusion that cold be drawn from it would be that actually gold is money, which by definition means dollars are not.
i.e, any attempt to revalue the treasuryβs gold to mark-to-market will admit the lie, and kill the global credit system almost instantaneously.

Correct, it's a controlled devaluation of the US Federal Reserve Note.
>The effect of an immediate devaluation of the base debt instruments that underpin the global credit market could immediately break something.
This is an understated fact. Because there is $14 trillion in the Eurodollar network, even FEARS of a devaluation could trigger immediate dumping of Federal Reserve Notes held outside of the USA. It could also, as you correctly point out lead to dumping of US debt, triggering huge interest rate increases on the long bond market.
>i.e, any attempt to revalue the treasuryβs gold to mark-to-market will admit the lie, and kill the global credit system almost instantaneously.
Some of the higher order effects will only be seen as logical consequences in retrospect.
No matter what the US government does, the US Federal Reserve Note is toast. The only question is the exact path it takes to it's death.

Governments in financial distress are like a drowning man. They will grab and pull under anything they can get their hands on.
Anyone who has lived through such an experience will never again leave their money outside of their immediate control.
Some people think about it this way:
Physical ownership of gold and silver, paid for in cash, without ID, represents the purest form of tax deferred investment possible. No one need even know you have it, unless you're dumb enough to post your stack on reddit, fagbook or 4chan.

Don't be in a major city when it blows. You want an ethnically homogeneous community with little to no diversity or IQdelets. The community needs to be self sufficient in food production, water supply and energy. It also needs to be located far enough away from major metro areas, and is defensible.
It's not an easy task to find a place that has all those features

Nice book. I didn't realize mercury was considered a noble metal.
gold (Au);
platinum (Pt);
palladium (Pd);
rhodium (Rh);
ruthenium (Ru);
iridium (Ir);
osmium (Os);
silver (Ag);
copper (Cu);
mercury (Hg).

Usually Monday is down. But so is Friday, usually, and that didn't happen last week either. Up we go.
Considering iqdelet is wrong everytime ask him what he thinks silver will do Monday and you will know the opposite to be true.

>Silver up even more on Monday?
If we hit a certain threshold, which we are either at, or very close to, then YES, once that threshold is crossed, silver will rapidly move towards 50, then may back down a couple of dollars to consolidate and prepare for the next leg up.
The FOMC meeting for lowering the interest rate, despite the cut likely already priced in, will still give some fuel to the prices for both silver and gold. Silver moreso.

Great advice, thanks anon. How do you see the next year or two playing out? Do you see gold and silver achieve real price discovery?

$43.05 at Friday close. Until then up and down. Up and down. Thursday maybe like $44 or even $45 then drop back down. This way they can make it look like nothing is happening.

Estimates are the LBMA has at most, 7 months worth of silver free float (available for delivery) at CURRENT demand levels.
Should investment demand increase, that would drop to 4 months supply. When the supply approaches zero, the price approaches $100+.
When the vault supply is near zero, there's no ability for the paper markets to short silver, therefore the market turns to a pure OTC physical market with true price discovery.
The physical market is in a position where he who buys first gets his silver. Don't expect a short squeeze on the paper market. Expect a supply squeeze on the actual physical market when Tesla and other companies get in bidding wars for the few remaining 1000 oz LBMA/COMEX good delivery bars.
Needless to say, if you own shares in miners, and especially junior miners, you may get a 10-20 bagger as the rising silver price makes them insanely profitable.

>This way they can make it look like nothing is happening.
That's how they run their psyop. Create ball busting volatility to shake out institutional investors who just want a comfy safe investment that produces reliable, predictable returns.
The problem the SlamTeamβ’ has been running into last week was someone was always BUYING THE DIP. I watched it in realtime, checking the prices every couple of hours. So satisfying to see the price get hammered with big sales, then immediately, small purchases stairstepped the price back up to where it was, or even higher.
I personally believe that the Federal Reserve is backstopping the shorts, so they don't care if they lose money. One billion to the Fed isn't even a rounding error on their $7+ trillion balance sheet.

Correct. Needless to say LBMA is notoriously opaque about the actual numbers, AND they were caught lying about their available silver during the Mar, 2021 silversqueeze. They called it an "accounting error".

I say crabbing Monday and Tuesday then a giant uptrend Wednesday past $44. Overnight Wednesday/early Thursday it will hit $45 for literally one second then drop like a stone and crabbing again finally settling at just above $43 at Friday close. This way even though it went up all us goyim will remember is that sickening red candle falling, falling, falling.
