white collar vs blue collar
I genuinely don't understand trade workers.

Why do they get so angry about the concept of somebody making more than them without working a blue-collar job?
Why do they expect you to believe them when they say they make a lot of money but refuse to believe that somebody who doesn't work a trade makes as much or more than them?
Why are they all convinced that driving a truck or whatever is the highest-paying job in the world? Do they all genuinely think a manager or executive can't match the salary of a welder?
Why do they always eventually resort to saying you're not a "real man" because you don't work 12 hours shifts and blow most of your money on gambling and cigarettes?

Tradies brag about making 100k a year, when they work 65 hours a week and the *work* grinds their joints to dust by the time they are 36

true, when you consider they work 10-12 hour shifts every day their "six figure" job isn't as appealing. plus they have to work around drunk assholes who hate their lives, it's probably hard not to become just as jaded eventually.

Imagine being in high school and when everyone talking about what university you're targeting you tell them "actually I'm going to become a plumber" or some shit. Kek everyone is going to think you're a fucking loser. That's the sad reality.

As a tradie myself, its because their lives fucking suck, you would get angry too if your life sucked. Im hoping to make it from crypto and leave this shit. The same shit tradies talk proudly about are things im embarrased about(how many hours you work, and how hard).

Most salary cucks are also putting in 50-60hours. The cushy 30hr jobs are rare

50-60 hours of desk work isn't comparable to 50-60 hours of labor and you know it anon.

I imagine this is a big part of it, especially because a lot of trade guys know that ultimately, at the very top of whatever company they work for, their boss's boss's boss went to school

>what do you do?
>nothing
>what do you mean? Don't you work?
>no, I have money I don't need to work

Conversation usually ends there. Peasant seethe is funny.

Wagies cope all the time. This is the true position; who cares about bullshit white collar vs blue collar infighting when you can be NEET.

The thing is lots of the trades are really shitty and based on how hard they are to work, a lot of those jobs are the toughest shittiest jobs. Like if you have to live on a fishing boat in Alaska or put in gas lines in nowheresville Montana you've got a real shit job. The idea of driving a big rig isn't terrible until you think about doing it for 16 hours a day, eating shitty road food and sleeping in your truck for weeks at a time.

In the tradies mind "hard work gets rewarded". But that's not what dictates pay, it's the value created relative to the labor supply. And so some programmer at Facebook or whatever can generate buttloads more value than some poop pipe cleaner. Hence the seethe

The ultimate goal of a wagie is for everyone to make $10.50 an hour and for Blackrock to own 90% of all business's and real estate

dumb people are tribalistic and want to think their tribe is the very best. This is because they have no real personal accomplishments and tie their self-worth to the worth of their group.

dumb people also usually wind up doing manual labor because thinking isn't their best skill.

so yeah, tradies tend to be tribalistic

if you weren't dumb you could've figured this out yourself. Get back to fixing my furnace, dumbass

No white collars by and large have a very kind if dismissive and patronizing view of tradies. 9/10 of them would spin some yarn about how it's good salt of the earth people are getting recognized and then go back to their desk. Meanwhile tradies absolutely lose their shit when you point out an accountant, engineer or even tech guy bodies them in terms of hours worked versus salary.

Because they are too retarded to figure out how to work a job that doesn't require manual labor and they resent people who managed to do just that. clearly why that tradie faggot shot the don't go to college Kirk guy. They are just seething about their own stupid life choices.

Their 12+ hour work shifts also make them very unfit for long term relationships. So many instances of women picking them for some reason then their relationship/marriage implodes because it doesn't get better. He's still working 12 hour days, then he's tired, so many weird problems pop up. I read my country (in Eastern Euro) subreddit and 90% of relationship problems seem to stem from the guy working insane tradie hours and the women never learn their lesson. You can't have a long term relationship with someone when you have a totally different work schedule than them.
