I’m actually a doctor who is taking care of old people in a ward right now (getting extra experience here for a while) and it’s crazy how much money is being put into keeping old people alive. It is indeed six figure treatment and many of them have memory diseases so they don’t even know what’s going on. Nobody knows what to do about it, people say ”just let them die” until it’s their own mom or dad here, then they want everything done no matter the cost. I guess i’ll just rope when i’m old enough if this system isn’t in place. Being really old, weak and full of diseases fucking sucks.

I think we will see the return of family households. Children living with their parents even beyond marriage and helping support the family in totality. Two sets of grandparents living under one roof in many cases.

That will be the case for all people who aren’t currently invested in stocks and other ponzi assets. Everyone who has enough in the ponzis will live whatever lifestyle they choose. Me I will encourage my family all living together regardless as I think it’s wholesome.

I was having several different conversations earlier in the year one with my brother I mentioned that we would eventually get the pods like Canada has and he had no clue that was a thing and same with the other people I was talking to, I brought it up because retirement was brought up and I was saying that there is no way that when the millennials get that age that there will be enough resources to dump into them just to keep them alive a year or two longer especially when you consider millennials are less healthy than boomers where. End of life pods are inevitable here in America within 10 years I would bet a lot of money on it even, but AI and technology are a wild card that could change the outlook for the future quickly.
