I want to start a business but I have no fucking skills. I've worked in low-skilled positions my whole life. To give you some context, I'm a 30M with 5 years of experience in app tech support, currently making $2,700/month. I have a stay-at-home wife, a 12YO child, and another baby on the way. I'm on the high end of earners in Argentina, but I can barely make it to the end of the month as it is, and with another kid on the way, I know I won't be able to make ot anymore.

I want an easily learnable skill that can give me extra money. I've thought about making LED signs, carpet tufting, or becoming a tattoo artist (I used to draw pretty swell and I had a unique style).

Do you have any small business ideas or any skills that don't require a college degree? I dont want to become a millionaire, I want my family to have a few meals per day all year long.

Wrong mindset. Don't be afraid of death by success. I love that you want to exit the rat race and seem to have an idea or direction, and that you don't care about grinding. Because that's what you will have to do. Just careful on following blindly advice of side business that might not suit Argentina (carpet tufting). Try to figure out what is that people need and try to find a way to do it better or cheaper, if possible both. I've read and done many things, try to get a pdf or watch the videos or something of Hormozi's model business. I could recommend you a thousand things, but that's the most pragmatic. Especially 100M offers. You will see that you may already have some skill you can use.

30 años y con un hijo de 12? que pachó? cual era el apuro, amiguito? Como sea, letreros LED, organizar eventos, tal vez imprimir libros piratas, otras cosas pueden atraer mucho la atención y una clientela de negros de mierda. Lo de organizar eventos puede hacerlo tu mujer, tal vez también un curso de pintar uñas/manicura, hay mucha gente en este país que gasta un montón de plata en eso. No hablemos de peluqueria canina , hay mucha plata aqui lista para cambiar de manos. Lo de los tatuajes tal vez funcione, siempre hay algún fagote o fagotina que quiere hacerse un tatuaje por algun motivo

The only way you can start a business is by working within an industry for a few years, then stealing the rolodex on the way out. Hopefully you noticed all the inefficient things your employer was doing and can use the client contact details to steal their business away from your former employer.

You have zero shot outcompeting established players if you don't know what the fuck you're doing.

If you're in CABA, try something like those nets that people place on their balcony fence to stop their dogs from falling, I met a dude who did that once, he came over with a cheap plastic net and an electric drill, installed the thing in like 10 minutes and left with like 30 dollars, the man was making bag with basically no skills.

My point is, figure out some sort of appliance, something that can be used to improve quality of life in an apartment, easy enough you can do it but inconvenient enough people will pay you for it... Low barrier of entry ideally, try and do it on the side and see if it takes off. Good luck flaco
