Nothing even remotely close to this happened in April. That was just the bottom, and prices were already low at the beginning of the month. The April 7th crash was maybe 20-25% for most alts.

The event you're thinking of that closest resembles this was the flash crash on February 3rd, which saw alts dump 30-40%, but still nowhere near this.
