Decoupling was possible but ended with mass adoption. Gold is decoupled as the entire world including non western markets are buying it. Silver is derivative of this but also so often sought by the east their is a 90 day waiting period to buy it in Vietnam and you have to get on a waitlist in Poland. If the emerging markets were clamoring for BTC you would have had a day like AG or AU. Margin calls mean selling hedges but now the world owns gold and the west owns crypto and gold. So BTC and derivatives could at best pattern like 08 gold while 2025 gold dips will be bought immediately outside of America.
