"Omg this has never happened before"
Hasn't this happened every cycle?

no, there has never been a point where 300 billion dollars was removed from the marketcap of bitcoin in less than a minute

in march 2020 bitcoin dropped 50% in one day and altcoins followed and much worse than bitcoin.

I remember during the last cycle bitcoin hit -40% at one point on binance during the hard dumping part of the bear market, it was there for about 5 seconds before it bounced 20%

In other cycles we had serveral entities fighting each other.
This time CZ has TOTAL control over crypto, without anyone to counter-trade him.

The three big entities this cycle are Binance, Coinbase, and Justin Sun, which all have somewhat complicated relationships with each other. They definitely do not all get along lol.

In other cycles, alts went up before giganuking. This time only some alts did, most were doing shitty even before this.

Maybe not this bad for XRP but for Bitcoin it wasn't even 20% today. Historically speaking, bull runs would have several 40% crashes throughout the cycle and iirc there were even 60% BTC flash crashes.

percentages are the wrong way to look at it, in terms of market cap this was by far the biggest crash ever

Bitcoin dominance dropped below 50% somewhere in the middle of the year in all previous bull years.(obviously not counting 2013 cause the market was still in its infancy)

We are now in October with a bitcoin dominance of 60%.

2020 was not a post halving year. 2020 was not meant to be bullish according to 4 year theory. Post halving years are the years that are suppose to be bullish, and we are currently heading in Q4 with prices that were lower than we had last year.

it has happened actually, during covid. however the circumstances were wildly different. we are on route to the end of the bullrun by latest december, this is not supposed to happen this late on the cycle.

Bitcoin getting a tiny pissdrop crash by 15% is completely normal.

But many big alts nuking 70-80% as a result of the tiny pissdrop crash is not normal.

This whole "cycle" hasn't followed the traditional cycle logic in general.

During covid coins didn't dump this hard this quickly, but they also didn't recover in an instant because the dump itself was more natural, proper panic, it was couple of days of alts being underwater, now alts are low but back within range (-20-40%, a lot but typical in crypto).

People love spectacle and excitement, that's why everything is always touted as some kind of unprecedented happening. It's very tiresome if you can remember things longer than a few years ago, which most people can't.

When did top 100 alts like RVN or ATOM ever crash to 0 within a few minutes you absolute retard?

We are in the supposed tail end of this bull run, 2026 is suppose to be a bear year according to 4 year cycle theory, and my portfolio has yet to reach its December 2024 peak. I am not in shitcoins either, they are top 20 marketcap RWA projects that even Trump has in his world financial fund.

How more farther into this year do we go for you to say that this “bull run” is and has been trash? I wanted excitement, but not this kind of excitement. I am anything but excited, I am bummed the fuck out

>few years ago
I’ve been buying since 2022, and my alts are a mere 2x from the 2022 bottom. 3 years for a 2x SUCKS, and here you are implying that I should wait for a few more years instead of sell?
