my butcher was a legit person. calls, facetime and pictures. conversations that were legit and flowed normally.
it was my complete unawareness of crypto that got me scammed and ironically, the knowledge i gained in crypto while getting scammed that woke me up to it. after understanding how wallets work, i realised that the exchange was completely fake, so the gains and the funds 'she' was putting in there were also fake and she would just continue to lead me on by delaying coming into to town.
when i figured the wallet situation out, i tried transferring usdt out which got 'frozen', and after innocently asking why it got frozen 'she' said

'She' was an accountant, and would send photos even from work and stuff...obviously their setup is extremely elaborate and long-term, and after building trust through constant contact, it's easier than you think to be blinded.

its fake and gay i got a text once from someone who "wanted to confirm my job interview" and thought i was some woman. becuase im a normie i was like 'haha sorry thats not me' and then they were like oh im so sorry and instead of disappearing they engaged in dialog. they weaved a narrative how they were some woman who works for some investment shit involved with hiring and and we had what was a nice chat. they expressed how i seemed cool and it was hard to find cool people and they wanted to talk more on some meme app since they were on a company phone. the whole chain of events was red flag city but i played the role required to keep it going. i offered alternatives and let them know that i did not have a smart phone at all just a flip phone and that was the first time they like 'broke'. they were extremely surprised about that and was like wtf and i was like i dont interact with anyone and have no use for social tool and smart phones are just that. once it became clear i was not going to be accessible the person must have felt bad about the state of usa society or my story cause then they just started trying to give me advice on how to have friends. over the course of the convo i was doing mad googling and discovered pig butchering schemes and brought it up. they admitted to being some dude in china and that its like a business over there to them to dab on western tards.

the character they initially larped as was real, had tons of natural looking internet presence, linkedin shit, pictures and social media. it looked like or just adopted the identity a real person. the pics they sent matched pics related to the person whos name they gave, the linkedin of said person had them employed at whatever place they claimed to be in the messages. it was a high quality meme for the most part, it was just 'too based' to be real that some mega hot investment lady would randomly hit me up, be local, and want to form a relationship- except i couldnt get some app. kek
