I’m going to college shortly, give it straight to me, which career should I pursue so I don’t end up in a nine to five (C) grinding?

If you don't have anything you particularly want to do just choose something that's easy for you to pick up. No one knows which way the job market is going to blow really, your best bet is to make as many good friends as possible. Networking is the most valuable use of your time in college.

Also any art "career" guarantees you won't have a traditional 9-5 grind, but you'll probably be poor as fuck for a long time.

Instead of trying to avoid 9-5, pick a 9-5 that you can actually enjoy. I work in a luxury hotel (office job, analytics) and I'm surrounded by hot bitches. Not the best job but it's definitely palatable.

major in business and learn sales. you will never be without work, even if it’s something like convincing Chamath Poopoopeepeeya to invest in your seventh failed startup idea. look at the guy from wework. unless he’s going to prison or something, he won at life while contributing nothing at all to society.
also, college will be the last time you are going to be surrounded by hundreds or thousands of attractive young women, so no matter how much of an austistic turbovirgin you are, you absolutely must take drastic action to get laid while there. for me, alcohol pretty much cures my autism and I become a normie who can actually talk to girls and be charming. maybe that will work for you or maybe not, but you must figure something out. your future self will hate you so much if you don’t take advantage of this time in your life. I speak from experience on this. the good news is success with women compounds like interest. the more women are into you, the more women are into you. so you just need to take the first steps to get the ball rolling and it will get easier the more you do it.

I am going back to get my shit done before but I am close to 40
is it already over for me?
I will be a decrepit old boomer surrounded by fertile angelic baddies in their 20's
will it be more demoralizing if anything?
also I am shit at school so I might not even get into my first choice, which means I have to swap to a shittier school (if I accept that or don't grind up my SATmemes another year) and I will probably get degraded women there too
seems like it might already be over for me, since I pushed my entire life forward 2 decades for no apparent reason and now it's nightmare mode fr fr
even a decade earlier was even more fine and I wanted to start earlier but was cucked and another decade passed like you just shut your eye and open it again, went by in a light speed

if anything a lower tier school academically will probably have hotter girls. and no I don’t think it’s impossible to get laid as an older student. it’s not like these girls are all nuns, anon. they’re going to rack up triple digit body counts during these four years. there’s plenty of room for you in there.
I couldn’t agree more about time flying by, though. seems like I was just mid 20s a couple years ago. now I’m pushing 40.

college is the pipeline directly to nine to five jobs bro. your only option to be successful outside of a 9-5 is entrepreneurship. most of the best ones dropout or dont go to college.

Every single college degree is a 9-5 grind, or is unemployment/working part time jobs moving furniture. College is the wrong place to go if you don't want to work 9-5.

Ironic enough, just assimilate and youll be fine. They like outsiders to want to learn about their "culture" so act like you want to care and you'll get all the feesh pussy you want.

Alternatively just be white, tall mildly attractive and rich enough to explore the third world and you can be this guy who gets paid to post vids of him picking up thirsty thirdie latina Qts

Guys thinks he can go to college to get a career so he doesn't have to 9-5 grind. Have you ever considered that the people who don't grind 9-5 actually have a passion for which they get paid for. I myself for instance work ever single day, every weekend, every holiday and I love it to be honest and there's no college degree which can do my job for me. I'm a computer engineer, at least that's my official education, I've been finishing it for literally 12 years now, I've written 170 pages of my diploma then my mentor was like "You need to register that shit now so you get a date" and I was like "I'm not going to do that because I simply can't be limited by a date because I'm doing stuff that is more important than college", then I wrote a bit about how college education is literally useless and that was 1 year ago. I haven't even checked the email to be honest. I could've graduated already, yet it's not really important since it literally changes NOT A THING. I also told that to my mentor that it's not important EVEN THOUGH I WROTE 170 PAGES AND SPENT HUNDRED OF HOURS ON IT AND EVEN THOUGH THE PROGRAM I WROTE AS A "PRODUCT" FOR THE DIPLOMA IS TENS OF THOUSANDS OF LINES OF CODE. Literally writting the program itself is worth more than me getting a degree. The whole point of college is knowledge and therefore me finishing or not finishing it has NOTHING to do with me gaining all the knowledge. I've already completed all of my classes, I've completed the diploma. What difference does a 10min long power point presentation and a official certificate do if I already acquired all of the knowledge? And also, the funny part is that the school gets paid per person that passes the school. Our country pays the school for people passing it. If I don't pass, they don't get paid, which is hilarious, since I literally spent thousands of $ worth of tax payer money, while getting all the knowledge and not giving anything in return.DO SOMETHING UNIQUE THAT NO SCHOOL CAN TEACH

Literally being a youtuber is harder than being a doctor. Think about it. You have a school for being a doctor and if you finish it you'll literally be a doctor. There is no school for becoming a youtuber... Therefore it's harder to be a youtuber than a doctor. And it's not a 9-5 grind job. It's literally a until you wake up till you go to sleep type of job, yet if you do it correctly you won't burn out.

Yeah but accounting also makes you want to kill yourself unless you’re some kind of turbo autist. I’d much rather be at some boutique PE firm or in FP&A at a startup (easily achievable out of a state school) than be an accountant of any type anywhere.
