Civil rights law de facto mandates that women have representation at every company. So they mostly wind up in HR enforcing civil rights law (and bringing the feminine touch to the hiring process, it's why applying for jobs feels like Tinder now). This has the upside of wasting large amounts of resources throughout the economy as well as reducing the efficiency of talent recruitment. As a side note, they all get in major debt to get these jobs, and being handed well-compensated work basically for free puts them in a higher status position than the men in their age group. Since women don't marry down, this reduces the marriage rate and birthrate. Many positives all around!
