I am (or rather I was) a Lightroom user. Turns out I'm not paying for AI, at best AI mighty make me go from a software from another. But at the end of the day, I'm not paying more for that shit. If Adobe provides cool AI features, or Google, or Microsoft, or whoever, maybe I'll stay on their software. But same way I would stay on their software if AI didn't exist in the first place. Now that it exists, if they don't provide it, maybe I'll go look at other pastures offering AI if I still pay the same price. That's the thing, they have to provide this AI shit to KEEP customers, but that's not bringing any new customers. A Lightroom or a Capture One or a DxO user will just go from a software from another, but it sure won't pop new photographers. But companies HAVE to do these investments, not for attracting new customers that have yet to exist that AI won't magically pop in existence, no, they have to do these investments to KEEP their current customers.
AI is a money trap. Revenue is pathetic.
