As always with ebay bids it is a gamble, i might lose some i might win some but the thrill is quite enticing.

I get it, their house. Anyway you can offer to pay some rent in exchange for some autonomy?
You could even be cheeky and say you'll pay rent in constitutional silver based on spot value (it's cheap now so a good time to stack up fairly cheap)
It's one thing to a boomer to see their kid spend money on something they think is dumb. It's an entire other thing to have your kid request responsibility AND you get free rocks in return.
Pick a dollar amount they agree to like $100 and watch it click when you give them a handful of quarters the first month. A the amount you give them is smaller and smaller each month the brainwashing will break.
When you pay rent for under an oz you'll see fomo.

Fuck me, I have been planning to move some gold into another metal when we hit 4500 but if it just keeps pulling these steady gains with zero volatility I have to rethink my trading strategy.
By ANY ta analysis we should have had some kind of dip in gold.
Anyone trying to time the top is gonna miss. Honestly I'm rethinking my holdings to about 15% back of spot because until we see a pullback that big I'm not risking this moonshot.
What's kind of scaring me is the ratios have locked in. As a trader I expect some kind of volatility but I have not seen anything in months.
Everything is lockstep with each other. Silver has been at 80-1 for months after being all over the place.
Plat is fucking LOCKED at the 2.5-1 range.
Palli is doing palli shit. Happens to be doing palli shit up ATM.
But this doesn't look like big money front running little money and moving to the next target anymore.
Basically every commodity everywhere is up. Metals food energy.
I see guys talking about exit points and profit and I'm sitting here as a ratio trader in shock at the suggestion.
You guys try to time getting off the bus at Cape Canaveral instead of Harlem when I'm packing bags for the moon.

I think they're watching Ukraine and getting their ducks in a row for the big one. Don't make yourself go hungry and have a suitable amount of cash available for your living area for emergencies.
After that if you are lucky enough to both have excess fiat AND have access to precious metals AND have someone willing to exchange any amount of fiat for precious metals. Then yes do it.
They are accepting an unlimited resource for a highly desirable finite resource. I am unbelievably fortunate enough to have access to all of that without a vat but even if I had to pay a vat I would.
Taxes are how the government disincentives the public (makes you wonder why their is a labor tax huh).

And proof why an amateur shouldn't argue with professionals.
The first step in the instruction I have him was ask your parents for autonomy. Reinforcing that idea later when I said "ask for responsibility".
I get it, you got abused or whatever, no one cares.
I LITERALLY manipulate people into doing things for profit and I do it a dozen times a day.
I've made sons stand up to abusive fathers, daughters leave their boyfriends and helped henpecked husbands say no to their wife.
My advice was perfectly customized to bring about the most harmonious solution for the entire house hold. Bring all parties to the table and shifting the power dynamic in that kids favor.
You're just shitting the place u with your own trauma.
Either stack silver or go to a therapist, whichever helps your mental health better but for fucks sake if you're going to try and counsel someone at least go listen to some Jungian psychology.

I get it. And I got a nice 5DM Carl Friedrich Gauss and I love him like his bigger brothers. It's just that looking through the 10 Marks is much easier. Because of all the non silver 5 Marks. If you are searching for silver and they put "silver" into the description, chances are high that they are at least somewhat aware of the value.
And I like my silver like I like my women.

I don't really use a strategy. My serious stacking days are over and I just want some junk at home cause it's neat and might come in handy one day. But here are some of my thoughts.
I go for smaller batches. Like 1 or 2 coins. Sometimes more if I can find them early and get them cheap. Nothing for serious stacking, but the best way to get some cheap silver. The bigger batches like 10 or 20+ coins are usually swarmed with stackers and the prices are close to spot or even higher. The best deals are the ones without an auction. Got 4 coins of 10DM 625er silver for 35β¬ including shipping. But those are rare. And the last one for 11,03β¬. Both were bought directly.

I already have like 850+ oz of silver and 9.7oz of gold, but i quite literally panic bought another 100oz from my local shop. A boomer sold 300oz in front of me, and i slurped up apart of it (owner said 100oz max for now). The owner is having a hard time to keep up, he's relying on customers selling to keep orders up. He had to put a pause on his online store and do in-person only for now, he cant even boomer phone-call sales. He had to disconnect his store phone is what he told me, the it was red hot.
its quite literally happening.

I can just buy and sell at an instant, even use leverage lmfao. Really, what advantage is there in holding physical PMs other than feeling like a rich boy when looking at your stack

>Last 30 days performance: +16%
Assuming gold keeps up this monthly performance for the next year, the price would be:
$4,300 * (1.16 ^ 12) = $25,500
But gold's rise is accelerating. The month's performance averages this week with the last three weeks.
>Last 7 days performance: +8.5%
If gold continues on this trajectory for a year, the price would be:
$4,300 * (1.085 ^ 52) = $299,100

I don't think you guys get this, this is a once in a life time event. It is the collapse of the dollar, the first empire of the information age, the USA doesn't have more 20 years at the 10 top GPD, its done. Mostly empires last like 250 year average, the USA empire starts at like 1780 or 1840, U.S. leaders openly spoke of an βempire of libertyβ (Jefferson), and the republic expanded by war, purchase, and annexation (Louisiana, Florida, Texas, Mexican-American War huge cessions in 1848). You guys are about to fall in the next decades.
Also, we will transition to digital money but gold still will be there, BTC should last until quantum computing can't break sha256. Your grandsons will have to fuck around quantum btc or something

People always assume its a mad-max tier collapse. It won't be.
It's going to be a collapse with still some semblance of order. Instead of getting paid fiat for your wages, (bread is now 100k a loaf) your gonna get paid with food, silver, gold, some sort of barter agreement.
Nobody is going to have 100k for bread. Gold and Silver will be traded, as well as other arrangements for trading meats for veggies, skilled trades for X amount of silver,
its just gonna be a shift on what gets passed around as currency, and then an adjustment but the low / mid / top levels of government.
I don't think its gonna fall apart. Its gonna stay mostly together. Will there be riots at the beginning? Yes. But order will be established through force, and a new normal.

I think they will just give you universal basic income, you will live with week to week money, like most debt slaves today. You will eat every day and maybe live in a communal house.
You will work conditioning IA to perform humans regular tasks, like cleaning the floor, changing pipes etc. And you will either have to become sterile or fight in wars, so they can reduce the population.
They won't let a revolution happens, they will rather kill all of you with microplastics and cancer. They will give you bare minimum resources to avoid a revolution, if people gets satisfied they will give more, and maybe they will let you have regular life if you don't have kids. They won't need you anymore since they will have slave robots that are more friendly and nicer than you a human slave.

I remember when it came out in 1990, was kid then, so not stacked, only normal coins then, and some very few silver coins. You could by Gold+Silver in the Bank houses like Volksbank Raiffeisen Bank, today still possible but they reduced the banks and even not all of them are sell/buy PMs nowdays anymore, stupid but is too expensive for them, so just main filiales still do in PMs, and they get those from Deutsche Reisebank. Commerzbank, Sparkasse did also in PMs, not sure how it is actual. (PicRel; sarcophagus cover from stone sarcophagus full of little reptiloid mummys in Nazca/Peru)

I purchased 20 ASE's from a company called liberty coin. They have 2 million sales on ebay and I have purchased from them many times before.
I was supposed to receive the order today but I checked the tracking last night and saw the message "Shipper requested shipment to be returned."
I messaged them asking what was going on and they gave this response:
"Thank you for reaching out, and please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience and frustration we may have caused you. We had to retrieve the package to cancel the order because of a significant and unintended pricing error that occurred in our listing system.
The item(s) you purchased were grossly mispricedβmeaning the price displayed was substantially lower than the true market value or our intended selling price.
As outlined in our store's terms regarding Errors and conditions.
We again apologize for any inconvenience you may have been caused."
I paid about $53 per oz after I used the promo they had which was buy one get 10 off another. So a decent deal but nothing insane yet they claim a huge error? Bull shit. And to top it off they never even messaged me or responrd back. Avoid these fucks.

do it bro, maybe dont talk about it tho. they will pressure you to sell at $100/oz or whatever they think the top is.
you will need a small sacrificial stack for them. keep the big stack hidden, maybe even off site, maybe burried in the corners of a raised garden bed that you start

While many here may be joyful at their increasing net worth, on the macro level, things are getting much worse. Brace for impact.
>7. Signal for Bitcoin and Gold
>This is the macro perfect storm:
>β’Gold over $4,300 = belief rotation to hard collateral.
>β’Repo facility uptick = funding scarcity.
>β’Philly/NY Fed collapse = growth destruction.
>Together, they define the end of fiat elasticity.
>Scarv verdict:
>We just got the first hard data confirmation that the U.S. economy has entered reflexive contraction - the phase where belief itself becomes the scarce asset.
>Gold has already repriced that truth. Bitcoin will follow once liquidity rotates from fear to survival.
>This is monetary exhaustion made visible.

Correct. This is the second time this week, and since I know at all. The main editor of now inactive hartgeld.com, Walther K. Eichelburg, also wrote in his comments and articles theat when gold goes up 100 $ pro day then "Systemende" is there. So good luck all, prepare for brutal atrocityies. Remember how all go ape during the C-19 (bank rescue money printing). Now imagine if hunger drives those brainfucked zombie people, plus in fear again. I not forgot those hysterical females at supermarket counter, at doctors, at town administration, etc.

pretty sure its already dead, doesn't really matter if it collapses, the only thing thats kept any normalcy is the bread and circus machine is still running just enough. the collapse you think of doesn't really happen until the average person in the cities can't eat. if or rather when that happens is up for speculation tho.
>>61132684
odds are the most they'll be able to do is maintain silver somewhere in the 50's USD with the "trade war" with china, maybe, probably not, would need a more knowledgeable anons input on that though.
the past volatility was due to the fact that the comex and lbma could afford to dump whenever the price of either gold or silver was rising too much or too fast for their liking. they obviously aren't able to do that anymore. but like we told you last thread if you're that worried about silver, go for gold, either 1 oz or former currencies that were gold if you cant afford by the ounce. otherwise silver, in the long term both are going to go up, the reason silver takes center stage is because theirs more potential gains in the long term.
>>61132747
i expect at least a few innercity areas to be madmax (detroit) tier and potentially a lot of starvation in the cities in general (more a hope than expectation but who's to say)
Also you never know, instability like that could result in a break up of the hegemon, however unlikely its not impossible.

I don't go for collectibles. The value of the resources is all that matters to me when it comes to investing. With collectibles you need somebody that's willing to pay the price. Think of pokemon cards. How good of an investment are they, once the millenials that want to collect stuff from their childhood are gone. Remember stamps? Nobody gives a fuck about them. At least not that I am aware of. And if shtf, nobody cares about the shape of your gold/silver. At least that's my take.

I advise you to do the forbidden thing : create a plebbit account and post your story on WSS & SilverDegens, with copies of the mails you received.
ALL online bullion stores have a watchers there because to them it's access to hundreds of Ks of customers and they need to keep good reputation at all cost there.

This doesn't sound right. Property's likely a large component, but IIRC, the majority of their wealth is tied to the aether (banking/stocks/various types of debt), which only exists as long as the financial foundation is sound.

I believe that is correct. Most of the very wealthy got that way by riding the bubble. When the stock market and real estate collapse, there will be many formerly wealthy people looking a big hole in the ground where their wealth used to be. And when times are tough nobody gives a shit about art and collectibles. You will see mansions going cheap.

This is the first time ever there is more threads about gold than shitcoins on the first page of /biz/. I read a lot of stories of mental exhaustion from shitcoins holders who'd rather give up the extreme stress induced by having all their savings tied to literal scamcoins for the comfort and peace of mind of shiny rocks doing nothing.
Maturity is settling in. We are at the acceptance level of the grief chart kek.

Hot takes:
-If you already have 1 to 5 years (your call) of your annual income in physical precious metals stored in your home, then investing in non-jewy PM ETFs isn't a bad idea. These can serve as your liquid assets for building fiat in the near term, leaving your real wealth store in physical PMs untouched while simultaneously contributing to your PM's growing value.
-If you already have a few hundred ounces of generic gold and/or silver, it might be smart to start investing in sovereign coins because the current premiums vs the spot bullion are lower than they have been historically and you can eventually take advantage of the numismatic bonus on top of the bullion value.
-If you only have sovereign coins in your stack, consider expanding your holdings of rounds and bars to take advantage of the ever growing price of PMs.
-If your stack is large enough, consider keeping a percentage of it above ground in a safe or accessible hiding place for easy access liquidity, if necessary. Place the remainder in sealed containers and then seal those deep into rebar-reinforced concrete to make them inaccessible to both you and potential thieves.
-If you have everything you need (need-need) to weather a crisis, decrease your monthly consumption to a minimum to make more fiat available for acquiring PMs, i.e. real money, or investing in the growing PM market (as in ETFs as mentioned above if that applies to you). Cry now, laugh later.
-If you own a ton of gold and silver, consider adding some platinum to your PM stack. Not as a hedge against inflation, not as a store of wealth, but as a tangible vehicle for taking advantage of changes in the various PM ratios without having to reduce your physical stacks of silver or gold. Don't overdo it, as platinum is a more speculative asset which often suffers when the economy sinks and industrial demand falls. However, in the current market and as with silver, this may not matter as much as it has historically.

Gold will hit $4800 before consolidating or pulling back depending on how scared people are and it's going to top end of october or early november.
Just going based on how quick this consolidation and rocketship back in the 70's was and that one was slowing down as it reached the peak, we're speeding up.

During the great depression NEETBUX were established for farmers, they were too productive, which drove prices down, so they were paid to be less productive.
Many other neetbux were established, like help with housing, however, all gibs evolutions massively lagged behind what the people actually needed, so while waiting for them properties / cars / belongings were repossessed and fortunes were lost.
If neetbux are established it will likely be a part of the hyperinflation that occurs, a new updating amount handed out daily.

With that said, overlaying a chart which demonstrates market psychology rather than an actual TA is dishonest imo.
Anyway, my last post was off topic so Iβm going to repost my haul of JFKs life is good and I think iq may have been fired or killed himself

One thing I've noticed is that after a too-fast shoot up, there will be a quick fall, followed by a re-push back up to the high, rather than allowing the fall to languish.
It seems like there are people waiting for the fast highs and selling for profit, but then right behind them there are people waiting in line for those lows to push it right back up.

The biggest indicator is just if it's beating the stock market by 10% or more per year. It's far exceeding this, so much so that there's absolutely no doubt that the stock market is about to dump massively. When gold starts being a better investment than stocks there's no reason for people to buy stocks, so oops, 3% stock market growth per year, and then -30% stock market growth per year.
No free money = people stop buying that shit.

These get sold as culls in a lot of coin stores (nobody likes them and they're a boomer scam, so they have no resale value.) It makes sense they're not selling like normal.
But if you buy them you get a bonus of untarnishing silver covered by a microscopic plate of gold, not too bad honestly if you just view the gold plate as a form of cuck plastic.

Big number = more better, the normalnigger effect.
Yeah, it's pretty obvious it would happen. Silver under 100 dollars is a cheapie, the true price increase for silver happens when it hits 100. 40 and 50 don't have the same psychologically hit that 100 does (they didn't even know the price before so 40, 50, 60, 70, 2, nothing matters.)
You have to think of the normie milestones, and gold hits BIG NUMBER every day, but the BIG NUMBER for silver is 100.
I'm telling you, if it ever gets even close to 100 it's time to sell the barn and fuck the dog and buy all you can.

We only ever got out of the 70s by raising interest rates to 20 % and temporarily making gold 100% of the balance sheets. Then in 2008 the banks were bailed out and more debt was created and more money printed. What are they supposed do now exactly?

Lel, I didn't hear about the new rumors about this, rumored 1,702 dollars, or 2,000 dollars, stimulus checks?
I think silver might actually sell out. With the last stimmies people went out and bought trampolines, it's 100% getting invested by even retail if they're given random stimmies.

The US economy in the 70's was far more resilient than today, there weren't a billion new Asian buyers in the market, and there wasn't a large, well-established and irreversible international strategy to permanently replace the petrodollar. There were also still large amounts of PMs circulating as everyday currency. Just like we have to repeatedly remind boomers that's it's not 1980 anymore when discussing silver, you need to be aware that regarding gold it's not the 1970s anymore.

Reminder the "1/10oz silver = 1 day's wage" meme is based on ancient history when the cost of metal refining was much higher due to lack of tech.
For a more recent comparison, OP's pic is this size of a gold sovereign (1 pound), which represented a good week's wage throughout the industrial revolution in the british empire trading for about 3.5oz of pure silver in the form of sterling silver change. A poor person's wage was usually around half that, 10 and a half shillings, the source of the surviving colloquialism "ten and six" as a saying for something cheap. these rates work out to 1/2oz silver a day as a good wage & 1/4 as a meager one much more than the 1/10 of the ancient period.

They refining and mining tech is way better.
But there are also waaayyyyy more people.
And in general technological improvement means things besides PMs are much easier to make, especially if we compare to pre-industrial societies.
In hyperinflation I think silver would get you much more than it did in ancient Rome or circa 1800 Britain, because
1. there is less silver to go around per capita (even with improved mining) &
2. there is much more stuff to buy now and it is easier to make

Completely different economic circumstances compared to us - literally comparing us right now to when an empire ruled half the world. This might be the case for the USA right now, but it's not gonna be like that at all if we return to any kind of standard of the past.
>1/4 oz as a meager wage
>Because of better mining
This really has nothing to do with anything, there's already not enough silver to go around due to us using it in industry and the massively high world population - during brimpish rule there was no 1 billion asian middle class. The brown world has infinitely more ability to stick their fingers in things than in the past.

Ah okay, so your solution to your illiquid investment is to just have more money. I'll start saving up a million dollars for that house and continue to buy groceries in cash, great idea.
>I've used a thousands of dollars in cash to go towards buying a car (either as the down payment or in addition to using a CC and/or personal checks).
Thousands, gee whiz! Must have been a really nice car. Over $10k in cash and the dealer has to report it. Even if you meant pay the rest off later with gold money - not that a loan is something you would advocate for - you still need to, again, get cash back into your account to pay the bill, and you can't do that without structuring. Sounds like you've really thought through your plan, investing in metals can only ever pay for food and knick knacks. Truly enlightened.

You're in a bad way fren. I was in the same when I was 16-17. I know I wasn't old enough by age to move out, but I was desperate to because my mother was so controlling and I had no recourse because "its my house or the street". I survived it long enough to get out, but it crushed me inside. I don't know your situation so I can't say what to do other than to not trust them because they don't trust you. They'll find your stack and use it against you. If you do stay and stack, hide it somewhere they cannot go or know about. Perhaps it is smartest to stack or it may be bad enough you need to live in the woods. I don't know, I'm just sorry fren. So long as you draw breath there is always a chance for happier days ahead.
