Ming Dynasty paper currency was the longest surviving fiat currency. It lasted 55 years before the Chinese went back to using silver. We're on year 54 of fiat currency. Either we all move back to silver, or I buy enough silver to build a castle.

Every currency was backed by the US dollar, which was backed by gold, Then in 1971, the US went off the gold standard, marking the first time in history that every country was using fiat.

Globohomo successfully executed their plan. Everyone in the West used to be independent. We bought houses in our early 20s. We started a family in our late 20s. We easily paid for medical care. Our wives stayed at home because there was no need for extra income.

Now we have lost all of that. Everyone lives in a car, a tiny apartment, or with their parents. No one has families. No one can afford healthcare. Both the husband and wife spend all day working white collar jobs, and they still can't afford anything. Globohomo has robbed us of our dignity for 54 years. This is where it ends. Boycott these failing currencies. Buy silver. Go back to a time when all money was backed by precious metals, and everyone could afford to live, even retards working minimum wage at a factory.

Never forget what they took from you.

Silver Maples. Silver Britannias. Silver Fortuna Bars. Silver Buffalos if you live in the US. All 1 ounce.

Coins and Fortuna Bars are easy to verify/sell. They also make for a good medium of exchange when you need to do grocery shopping in the future. They also look nice and make you feel rich when you see them all stacked up.

Gold as a store of value made sense before the Industrial Revolution, since gold was a byproduct of food and labor. It makes no sense post Industrial Revolution though. If you’re too dumb to understand petrocurrency though you weren’t gonna make it anyway, sorry goldtards.

Gold, platinum, and silver have real industrial demand. Silver and platinum are especially in demand, with both being in 3 year supply deficits.

You need platinum for your car. You need gold for jewellery. You need silver for everything, including your computer. These metals are valuable because we need them, and they have a higher price than other commodities because there is a very limited supply of them.

But I'm sure you already knew this. Nice try globohomo. You will be crushed in 2 years when the world runs out of platinum and you haven't stockpiled any.

I am younger and richer than you. This is called learning from history. 5000+ fiat currencies and they have all failed. Even recently in Turkey, everyone has moved from their failed fiat currency back to precious metals. You are an agent of globohomo. Your goal is to cause inflation. Nice try, but we're not falling for it.

petrodollar is a meme. us dollar has barely anything to do with petrol. fuel is better to have than paper money, but it's worse than gold as a form of money. gold is preferred due do its desirable properties. it doesn't need to be used for anything except as money. i don't know why precious metal shills keep talking about uses. they don't matter. money is a use on its own. oil is carbon+energy. that's not good enough. it's too abundant. it's not durable or dense enough in value to be money. gold is an element. it can't be synthesized or manufactured like diamonds or beanie babies. forgoing gold because some shitholes woke up to it is retarded.

>>61175031

Money is an energy system, sorry brainlet. Oil is fundamentally a better value backer as access to it directly creates growth.

All the reasons you listed are great arguments for why gold was a great store of value back when food was the energy powering the economy Kek.

Silver doesn't rust away. There's still silver coins around from ancient Greece and the Roman empire that were just hanging out in the dirt. Silver coins get recovered from shipwrecks in the ocean where all the iron rusted away. Silver forms a patina like a shell when exposed to sulfur in the air.

The fact that the gov didn't have the gold to cover all the printed dollars is irrelevant, as long as the gov was exchanging a set amount of gold for 1 USD thats enough. You might as well argue that banks don't carry fiat because of fractional banking.
