This is exactly what anybody with any IT experience said would happen when people started shelling out money, sometimes thousands of dollars, for 'ownership" of an image link.

It listed on opensea, I think it's an opensea centralization problem, but let the bitchuds jerking off a little! Telling this as an eth maxi who knows nfts as monke jpegs are the biggest fucking bullshit in crypto since ripple.

lol bitcoin is literally dying. it might be a good time to start shuffling back to rocks.

you cannot trust codebros with anything. if something is software it's fucked.

core devs are turning it into ethereum. bitcoin is straying away from being the digital gold.

Even if it's on IPFS someone has to pin it or the content can be lost. Also, you need their AWS and web2 API's to access their IPFS cache over html. As far as I know there is no decentralized frontend for crypto. i.e. bitcoin core but it can also generate an opensea and uniswap like interface. There's no standards for that atm. If there were, you could have truly decentralized apps that don't have any marketplace fees.

this gives me an idea
get this... NFT lootboxes. you don't know which ape you get until you've already paid.
i think this might be what it takes to make NFTs great again

Bro, NFTs from back in 2020 already served their purpose giving banks a gazillion and change ammo to justify turning their assets into NFTs (aka tokenized RWAs).
