Majority of people in their 40’s make less than 150k a year. How does this affect their self-worth? Do grown men that still need to work ever feel less than they are? What can companies and the economy do to help these men not feel like failures?

Most people don’t tie their self worth to how much money they make, and to most normies making like 80-100k /yr is considered “good” while even 50-60k is respectable. This is also why men tend to compare themselves with height, looks, penis size, etc to make themselves feel better if they aren’t accomplished

I'm 40 and make $200k and I feel like a complete failure and I live paycheck to paycheck supporting my family. If my wife worked it'd be a different story but she's lazy.

Not having money or a family, I am objectively a failure. But I don’t feel like one except time to time. I let myself down but I’m in a better place now than I ever have been. It’s just not the best place I could have been had I not been so foolish.
