Better than a fast food gig and it's a decent clean small grocery store, what's there to lose?

If you are hired, expect to work as cashier some of the time. TJ's generally has its employees work various parts of the store instead of solely doing one task.
As far as grocery stores go, TJ's is a good place to work. I say go for it, grocery is not the most interesting job but there's still some degree of dignity in it

Go for it, dude
If nothing else you'll be able to gaze at attractive women in yoga pants all day.
You'll probably develop much better social skills that will help you later in life.
