Nuclear happening
Google was able to easily crack the Bitcoin wallet keys using a Quantum Computer, which is 13,000x faster than leading classical supercomputers. Bitcoin is no longer secure.

So it will take 2 trillion years instead of 100 quadrillion. Holy shit sell your Bitcoin now

Quantum computing is one of the biggest scams of the 21st century lol. They have NEVER done useful work.
>" the current state of the art is largely experimental and impractical, with several obstacles to useful applications"
>>61177780
Facts. 13,000x is nothing. Also anything that can be used to decrypt the blockchain can be used to encrypt it.

There is no reference whatsoever to “bitcoin” or “bitcoin wallet keys” in this image

In order to break SHA-256 encryption with quantum computing you need about 1000 non volatile qubits for error correction.

Google's willow chip has 105. But i assume they will attempt to run 10 of them interlinked, and even then its a tedious task to do so, kind of like how NVIDIA sli or AMD crossfire never produced 1:1 results with scaling.

Oh no chud! Looks like gold isn't as reliable as you think
>marathanfusion.com/alchemy.pdf
Give it a read, its like a whitepaper for how theyll scale mercury conversions to gold as a byproduct to fusion energy. That's right, theyll use the fusion for energy and the byproduct will be Au, gold. Very bearish for gold and why I would say that first big drop of gold happened

Just easily 10x that into 10 willow chips and viola
Anonymous (ID: mwymITlh) No.61178005
The largest number factored by a quantum computer is 35, even a 13000x improvement on that is nowhere near enough to break bitcoin.

Importantly this is 13000x "faster" vs a traditional computer *for the same operation * but no quantum computer is close to a supercomputer or even regular computer in operations per second.

Sure, but quantum computing can be scaled up fast with Google's new chips if I remember correctly. Singularity is near.

Its possible, but current technology doesn't allow a 1:1 in terms of performance with scaling. There are limitations and bottlenecks with the technology. Such as lane bandwidth and optimization of software.

Willow's chip is just a proof of concept that quantum computing is real, but it will take as much time as 30 years like they said to find the next advancement that allows them to get to that point.

Its a great start, but a far cry from their promises on what can be accomplished.

>Google doesn’t need your money

They need institutional investment and a “win” to justify their existence given they’ve basically fallen to irrelevance over the past decade. Google used to be the foremost tech giant, now they’re an afterthought and on the fast track to going the way of Yahoo and other failed enterprises from the Dot Com era

ah yes, like they promised AGI but all we got is copy paste slop images and videos.

quantum is not a thing, it's a measurement.

Bitcoin can't be "cracked" you dunce.

Rubbish. Their latest Gemini 3 model is way ahead of the other AI companies. You're about to see a decade of Google supremacy if they keep working like this.

You people are dumb as fuck. If quantum can crack Bitcoin it will also crack everything else in the world. Every server, every network, every stock exchange, every bank account. Therefore the whole financial market should crash based on this news.
