debt collectors buy debt from companies for pennies on the dollar. If its under a certain amount, they won't bother because its not worth it. Tracking down some anon for 50 bucks when it costs 100 bucks to accost the guy endlessly just doesnt make sense. 1000 on the other hand, then they come.
