If high bond yields mean that investors are confident enough to invest in alternatives to bonds, and low bond yields means that investors are flocking to bonds as safe assets, what if the bond yields are neither high nor low? Does that even exist? Do financial institutions even allow for there to be a middle ground or is it a situation of either/or?

Well, it's either going to pump, dump or crab from here on. That's for certain.
