I've invented a new test for ANY investment. I call it the cult test. It goes like this. You fill in the blanks to the following statements, using answers relevant to your investment:

Fair points! I think to be as rigorous as possible, though, we have to lean into the cult score as much as we can without being too uncharitable. Think of it like an "upper-bound" on how cult-like the investment is. Peter Schiff is definitely a stretch, but I don't think hyper-inflation is. Try it with another asset!
