Cabada post here. If it's your first Christmas and you've got like 6months of experience. You'll be fine but yes you'll be earning every penny of your paycheck. If you're brand new. You may breakdown one of the first days and quit on the spot.

So i've been working in shipping and logistics for 7 years.
FedEx Ground sucks balls, like the worst of all the large companies. UPS is a lot better, if you want a career it's the strongest union in the industry.
Amazon is the same but safer and pays better than FedEx ground.
Currently I work as a doubles driver for a unionized regional bakery.

I left Fedex after being a switcher for like 8 years.
It's usually very busy, but last peak and the peak before that were almost dead.
Everyone will be high strung. The handlers are getting yelled at by their ops manager, the ops manager is getting yelled at by the sort manager, the sort manager is getting yelled at by the hub manager. And it's all because the infrastructure of the building can't accommodate the inflow of business.
