Sadly you're not alone. Fatigue is also one of the big killers for anons. Many generals end up fading away once it's just OP and they've carried a couple threads on their own by that point.
/c/ needs to find a way to get more users without ruining the overall experience.

I'm sure it's in my folder somewhere, just can't find it right now. I really hate it when artists repost the image instead of retweeting their old tweets, the sense of deja vu just makes things more complicated to sort out.

Keep in mind I'm autistically obsessed with checking how recently and how frequently most of the images I'd like to post are on desuarchive in order to ensure threads aren't just the same few recycled images over and over again, like the case can sometimes be with threads on /c/. Unfortunately some old Rin threads could just be the same people posting the same images, with each thread being very similar. But that tends to consume a lot of time, and I find myself losing hours just scouring for images I've never posted at all or haven't been posted in years. I typically like to wait at least a full year before posting an image again, but I've often broken that rule if I've really liked a particular image, or arbitrarily decided I should wait longer before posting an image anew. But alas.

If people have any ideas for OP quotes, please do share them, because I'd like to continue the tradition, but I'm out of ideas. Haven't really read through FHA in years, so there could be some gems there, but I can't recall much, really.

It's also worth making sure that threads are a good combination of old and new fanart instead of just the latest images, as well as a balance between less popular and more obscure but soulful art and very popular and frequently shared images.

Actually one final thing; it also doesn't help that I sometimes arbitrarily designate certain images as ideal for an OP and thereby refuse to post them until I can use as such.

It's funny, when I post really frequently, I tend to find I think the thread is going too fast and I should let it breathe a little (and that by going too fast it just results in greater likelihood that the same images get reposted), but when I slow down, I start to think I am not posting frequently enough.
