cgl is slow anyway and it's more than a month away. Anyway I live nearby so I'm going, I hope there's a Hololive Q&A like there was last year since that was a lot of fun. Meeting anons was also great so I'll look forward to a meetup.

Eh, I went last year and it wasn't that great. Lots of people who paid $5 and got all dressed up to sit on a chair and do nothing. Compare to the Otakon Ball, which is free, a larger space, has more energetic folks, and the wrist bands so you can know who is willing to dance with anyone.
That said, it might be worth for the chance to be able to touch a cute girl, but out of the formals I've been to at cons this one is easily the worst.

The Space marine armor is almost finished, but the painting and perfection needed will probably see it not complete by the time. Here's hoping, especially since I have no help putting it on this year I gotta make it solo.

There's an official afterparty this year but from what I looked at reviews and the organizer's Instagram it looks like a normal schmuck rave with people they pay to show up in cosplay. Any other parties people know about where I can go vibe after the event?

I usually jump from rooms parties, and kings next to the con usually has some karaoke or somthing. Im not sure if I'm hitting the rave or not, would be pissed to buy tickets and find out it's dead (like CTcon did a couple years ago)

Possibly have Saturday night actually free for once this year so maybe might actually go out before 11pm to get blasted. Masquerade actually ends before 8pm this year.
