Not OP but I am thinking of doing a skimpy cosplay, or just a more popular one. I always cosplay as niche characters that I love, but the vain part of my head wants to do a cosplay that’ll get attention.

I have a friend who always gets bombarded at cons. Even though she doesn’t dress skimpy, she does popular characters. They’re all SFW, but intentionally or not, they’re also popular porn characters. She’s also white and skinny.

I don’t have a body like hers yet but I would say I’m still healthy skinny with good proportions, whereas she is unhealthily skinny. Most anime fans, from what I’ve seen, tend to prefer slightly underweight girls anyways.

Assuming that I’m physically fine, what can I do to get more attention in cosplay? I usually see girls in bunny suits getting lots of attention. I've noticed over the years that the characters that get popular with cosplayers often aren't the same as the ones that are big with hardcore anime fans.
