Depends on the party, a lot of the hotel ones you can just knock, show ID and get in. Some are cliquey or want you to have a special wristband.

There's basically constant partying going on outside at the Villas though, that anyone can just hang out at since it's a field.

I'm kinda interesting in going, but having the new con and their biggest con just a few weeks apart could be....interesting. One or both of them could end up being an absolute shitshow.

Colossal staff is already stretched paper fucking thin, and I'm betting they won't bring any new staff on board, so there's potential for a lot of problems there.
I think it's probably a good idea to sit out the first VA con and see how it turns out. I want to see how the VA Kalahari staff is as well. Hopefully they won't be insufferable cocksuckers like the Poconos staff have been in the past (although last year was fine).

In the past it seemed like the main draw for most people was the outdoor pool & to hang out with your friends at the pool, now it seems like the pool is sparsely busy and most people are more concerned with what parties are happening at the villas.
