Thy Geekdom Con for 2025
Thy Geekdom is happening on May 23-25 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center.

For newbies it has video gaming, tabletop, masquerade, costume contests, car show, manga library, and many guests from anime and games.

People have said that a lot that there are a ton of cons on the east coast now all in the same month.
Anime Boston, Thy geekdom, Kogaracon, Saratoga spring con, Garden state anime fest, Fan Philly Expo, PAX East, etc....
So many of these fell on the same weekends.

Anyone else here what happened here this past weekend? I heard there was some sort of incident involving someone got harassed/someone got kicked and the con's covering it up?

So ALLEGEDLY an autist named Clint bothered people in the con. According to some gays online they claimed he flirted with a minor girl, touched a person getting a tattoo, and bothered others. He was escorted out after doing all of that and and then he later walked back in over the course of Friday and Saturday. He also tried to pose as staff at one point. For some reason Security was really lax with him and didn't do much to keep him out and escorted him out multiple times only to slip in after. He at some point was given a free pass to get with his friend who would supervise him who then split off from him. He tends to message a lot of people online through IG. He went to Derpycon and did something there and for some reason was kicked out of Soju guild. According to some journo she was told by the staff he was autistic and given a break and accused her of being ableist and wouldn't punish him harder. Essentially deflecting the criticism of the security.

This was an unpopular response. It didn't really address all of the allegations. They also have levied cease and desists on critics which makes them more authoritarian.
