It does, and we did do a maid cafe collaboration with them during their convention (I joined last spring), but for the most part it's a separate community of people, we were more of a even split of boys and girls into a variety of cosplay activities (foam crafting, make up, sewing, photography ect) while they were just a sausage fest of gachafags

I guess I should've been more specific that we are actually (re)starting the club and actually getting funding from the school this time since last year they missed the window to apply and we basically just fucked around in the basement of the engineering building every Wednesday, was still fun as hell tho

ah i see. a bit harder to think of activities for just cosplay, i guess you could have people who specialise in certain areas have an event to teach it, and obviously you could travel to cons when theyre on.

outside of that, maybe themed cosplay contests every now and then? or like socials with that kind of thing happening in the middle
