ConnectiCon 2025
July 17-20 in Hartford Connecticut in the Connecticut Convention Center.

Schedule has been live.
Guests include Nostalgia Critic, Ben Diskin, and Dan Southworth.

For new goers there will be an arcade there and a guy eating a whole chicken. As well as the famous Death Match where people go on stage and the crowd cheers for their survival or demise.
The Riverfront food truck festival will also be there too. There will be photoshoots for Resident evil, Bungo stray dogs, Valve games and more.
Lines look long to get in so hopefully you got your badges mailed in. I know I did.

TQs: Hitting any panels? What cosplays are you wearing?
Also does anyone have the recorded footage of the Death Matches from the last few years?

I manage to get my badge but there doesn't seem like much going on. I'll probably just hotel hibernate tonight.
I'll be the blue Shadow Wizard Money Gang with shutter shades tomorrow and/or Saturday

Anything notable this year? I haven't attended since 2019 and have only heard secondhand stories about the vibes

Stair party, arch street tavern, and cosplay wrestling have been pretty much the most interesting things. Vibes at ConnectiCon are always a little low energy until the night. I'd say it's worth going if you're local but I wouldn't travel for this. Unless you're really dead set on cosplay photo shoots or seeing some voice actors

Neat con as a first-timer, but christ they need to figure out that system for badge pick-up. I get there aren't a lot of options considering the space and layout of the convention center, but there has to be a more expedient way than that shitshow.
Other than that, fun for just going for a day. Wish I was there longer, it's a much bigger con than I was expecting.

If you're only doing one day Sunday is the worst. Everyone is hung over and tired. The energy is low and some people skip Sunday entirely. It closes early in the afternoon too.
For any con if you're only doing one day, always make it Friday or Saturday.

This isn't a con you consider. You do it or don't. You lose a lot of time getting parking and waiting in line if you don't plan it out.
