I know this is probably bait, but I’ll bite and engage in good faith.
Most normal, well-adjusted people generally don't give a fuck about them one way or another in daily life. As long as they don’t expect every single person to validate them or publicly screech about it when someone doesn’t, I don’t see a point in caring what they do.

imo, they have a first contact phase where they seek conflict (or are scared of death, statistically) and after that they just chill, some might switch to propaganda machine mode
all in all, it's a complex phenomena, I can't fully judge them really, but it'd be foolish to pretend that most of them weren't literally psyopsed into their current state with sahdy dark propaganda from who knows whom
