No, this is the one with Kefir. I much prefer it over the one with Kvass (spoken like a true ESL, as someone will note). The one with Kvass is darker.
Our food kind of sucks, but I sit out of the arguments over worst food, though. Everything ranges from plain to throw a bunch of whatever in a pot and pray that it is edible.
I will tell you that in Soviet times, it was common to make a "candy". This "candy" (and I really do use this term loosely) was to take a few pieces of pasta, which were boiled and buttered, then cover them in sugar and let them sit, sometimes it was refrigerated overnight then let to thaw or eaten relatively cold. It is an embarrassing dish nowadays, but not a dish unheard of even today.
Another thing we do is boil noodles in milk for breakfast. I am sick of cereal (or sticks as we call it), so I might do it one morning. Perhaps I will make a thread documenting this.
Did you go to some of the more shitty places in this country? Like Magadan?
