Just a heads up: Tried the hot pan for 2-3 minutes with some splashes of water and cover. Bottom crispy, top is melty, not soggy or desert dry. It works.

it's true, it does work. cold is still better, and microwave is okay too. if you're really bored you can do the pan thing, but it's worse than the aforementioned and not worth the effort.

Biggest downside though is that is a long ass preheat period. With that prep and timing you literally 80% of the way to making one absolutely fresh.

Had costco pizza that was frozen for few weeks recently. Used a toaster oven and it tasted like I'd expect a costco pizza would.

pizza reheating on the frying pan is generally my go-to but for my current favourite place I find the best reheating method is microwaving which was my last method when trying to find out how to best reheat this specific pizza

For me pizza is one of those foods that tastes better cold rather than fresh. I'll order a pizza once a month or so and when I get it home I'll have one slice to tide me over and then put the rest right in the fridge for lunch tomorrow. Cold pizza is the best.

I have eaten cold pizza in a 2:1 ratio to hot pizza. Nothing is more disappointing than someone heating up leftover pizza.

Glad it does work for you OP.
I usually toss mine in my cold-start toaster oven set to warm/bake for ~10 minutes which is also a great hands-off approach if you've got one. ATK recommends a similar approach with a wall oven at a really low temp for ~20 minutes if you have multiple slices to reheat at once which I've also done and it werks too:

No, really, why are YOU gay? What kind of ass-eating, faggot barbarian thinks popping a slice in the microwave is anywhere near as good as the pan method? You, thatโ€™s who. Oh noโ€”-youโ€™re pressed for time in your busy life? Fuckโ€™s sake.

>reheating pizza
Any post relating to this topic that includes more than one step and/or takes longer than 2 minutes is gay AND retarded. Pizza reheating should be quick and easy so that someone needing immediate medical attention could manage it easily before they collapse and the ambulance arrives.

Fun, I post the method that (as far as I know) I made up on /ck/ one time months ago, then, when I come back to /ck/ for an infrequent visit I see this thread. I'm most likely wrong, but i'd like to believe it was my post that taught this guy the proper way to reheat a pizza.
