What condiment packets are you most likely to take a surplus of for home? I can never resist the mayo.

I've never done this but
โ€ข I ate at McDonald's a really really really long time ago and they had this chipotle sauce and it was delicious and I went there again a few years ago and they didn't have it anymore so I would go back in time and take all of the chipotle sauce
โ€ข mayo would be the best one to go for outta common options cuz it's shelf-stable. You can take a sandwich with you unrefrigerated without mayo on it and squeeze some from the packet when you're ready to eat without worrying about spoilage

Taco Bell mild and fire sauces are the only restaurant packets I have at home. I generally avoid ketchup for being too sugary, mayo for being too soy, and mustard I like to be more flavorful so I buy my own.

I am actually running low on my verde taco bell sauce, but generally these are my favorites. Do they still have Diablo? It's been years since I've been to one since I live rural. Gonna make a verde turkey wrap now I think. Actually, I got some leftover stuffing in the freezer from Thanksgiving so I'll mix that in too.

Mayo probably doesn't provide nutrition. Ketchup is a bit sugary but mustard definitely adds some nutrition without any downside.

It's probably too small of a serving size to provide enough to label it as having vitamins/minerals. Vitamin C is also destroyed by heat and ketchup is usually made with tomato paste that was cooked a lot.

the taco bell closest to me is staffed by a bunch of lazy slobs who leave the entire restaurant a disgusting mess the entire day.
i've never been there once where it didn't look like someone filled up their fountain cup with baja blast, took ten steps back, then threw it as violently as they could at the machine.
these sauce bins are always empty there. the only ones left are the shitty inedible ones like diablo and mild, and there's usually only a handful left.
in the empty bins you can see the buildup of dust and buildup from exploded sauce packets from months of never getting washed.
let's not even mention letting randos stick their disgusting fecal fingers into these bins and the amount of bacteria it leaves behind on the remaining sauce packets.
i've stopped taking free choice sauce packets from restaurants completely now. why would you, it just sounds like a good way to contract e coli.

I love it when places have out packets of hot sauce because it means I don't have to buy that specific brand just for a taste. I get Tabasco from Panera, Texas Pete from Chick-fil-A, weird random stuff from gas stations, etc.

I'm not that other guy but now that you mention it, I don't think I've ever had that problem before. And I love egg and lettuce sandwiches so that should be a reasonable concern.
Makes me wonder if I've developed some kind of weird Inuit super-digestive system that's capable of withstanding horrible stomach bugs after years of eating spoiled eggs

>What condiment packets are you most likely to take a surplus of for home? I can never resist the mayo.
I never take more than I actually need, that's stealing, but I do feel weird throwing away items that were put in my bag, but I do!!

Because I pack my lunch to work, and make a cooler of stuff for road trips, I do toss extra wanted stuff into my kitchen drawer with the ziplocs, saran wrap, parchments, and foil. I typically only keep the napkin-cutlery combos, esp with hand wipes provided. But, as far as packets, I will keep an extra sriracha sauce (Starbucks breakfast sandwich), or the grey poupon packet, or blue cheese dressing. Mayo and publix oil/vinegar packets, are all good for hurricane meals/no electricity situations. These are good for the boat, too.

Wendys had a weird chili sauce they only gave you when you bought chili. the chili overpowered it but i like how oily it is so i use it on chicken
