So bullshit. The only reason to buy from them was that DoorDash used to run a buy one get one free deal. They are pretty tasty tho

That is actually what a proper portion of burger should look like. It shouldn't be those huge 1000 plus calorie monstrosities. Our portion sizes are out of control and our perception of normal portion size has been warped.

Bootlicking faggot. Imagine defending 100+million dollar corporations who give you less than an oz of beef and charge 8 dollars for supermarket preservative bread and some lettuce. What compels you to be such a limp wristed loser?

But how much was it? Personally, I don't judge food by price and portion only, I also judge quality by how large my bowel evacuations will be afterwards. Consider the price of toilet paper.

Cringe take. Look at the size of OPs hand compared to the burgy/tray. Not everything should be a "standard" portion size because no one is the same size

I'm shocked you're able to hold the bun like that without the whole thing sliding off your hand leaving behind a grease slick
Whoever decided to slather potato rolls in a fuckload of butter (they even made a special roller for it!) before using them to hold the greasiest smash burgers ever to come off a filthy griddle should be banned from food service.

Actually fucking inedible it's so greasy, and this is coming from a guy that devours poutine covered in corned beef hash

I didn't defend the company. I said we (Americans) have a warped view on what proper portion size. I also think you're a fucking moron if you go to one of those premium burger joints like Shake Shack and complain about it. Wow, an upscale burger place charges high prices? This is tyranny!

I weigh 140lbs and I was still hungry after eating a burger and fries at Shake Shack, no joke. It was expensive too, and this was over 6 years ago. Never been back, it tasted good but it's just not worth it.

I'm also 140 lbs and I had a chicken sandwich and fries and was full. This was also around six years ago. But I agree it was too expensive even back then in the pre pandemic years.

I can palm a basketball with my huge man hands and I think OPs burger is the right size. Giant softball sized burgs are gross and insane portion sizes of unhealthy food are a huge part of why the average American woman 20 and older is 170 lbs and the average American male 20 and older is 200 lbs.

the patty looks thick, not like a Whopper which is wide and thin.
I'd rather have that burger than some mcdonalds shit.
How embarrassing that you're taking pics of your food. Are you hoping they see you and assume you're complaining? Is that as close as you get to being assertive about your expectations?

It's expensive but it's really the only legit smashburger you can get from a chain on the west coast. If I want value, I go to In N Out. If I want a nicely seared smash with perfect lacy edges I have to go to shake shack or heat up my griddle and do it myself

I agree, but I can enjoy a large burger with no fries and a bottle of water and not feel bad and be satisfied with my meal. A tiny burg, fries, and a soda is a way worse meal than 1 big ass burger

Burgers are absolutely fine. They're filling, not particularly high calorie, lots of protein and other macronutrients.
Even the fries are fine as long as you don't eat a fuckton of them.
The problem with fast food is purely portion size on the fries and soda (soda is easily the worst for you)

True, many of you are morbidly obese.
