I haven't had sour/fruity candy in a while and want to get some but there are a million different types and flavors now and it's impossible to tell what's good and what's shit

You can buy citric acid. Add it to juices or jello or ice cream.
Don't know what the fucking deal is with sour patch kids but bulk store hasn't had them last few years though I rarely go there. All these off brand shitty sour gummies instead.

Those sweet tart ropes are pretty good, but I liked it better when they were called Kazoozles.

My recs for fruity chewy candy is:

Sweet tart ropes are good. Haribo sour gummy bears are the goat gummy bears, sour skittles or sour skittles puffed are also good. Giant smarties are also goated and way more sour than the small ones and very cheap. Most others are complete shit now and not even sour at all and half corn syrup.
