they make a fucking mess, you need a sword to cut them and they spray sticky sugar acid all over the place, usually your eye, then most of the time the texture is fucking weird and it'll be an abomination of an orange inside an orange, and they're too bitter tasting

clementines are superior is every way, not only usability, but convenient size, presentation, shareability, and flavor.

a clementine is a type of orange. but yeah, clementines/mandarins/tangerines are better for snacking on than the big navel oranges. does anyone really disagree with that? I feel like that's a normal take. the big oranges are mostly used for their juice, for baking and stuff.
